Teenagers from the local drama group are encouraged to audition for a story about the trials and tribulations of growing up. Too many characters and too much jumping around
Revisado: 08-28-24
I listen to books while I work and this one is way too hard to follow. there are too many different characters and too many different things going on. It jumps around in time and points of view way too much to be enjoyable

Historia
Secret Service Agent Oakes Weaver is in the midst of the biggest assignment of her career - leading the advance team for President Andrew Powell's impending trip to Philadelphia where everyone expects he will be nominated to run for a second term. The last thing she needs is a tragedy among the president's inner circle that might not be an accident, or the sudden recruitment of Ari Rostof, a woman who might be a lot more than she seems. But Oakes doesn't get a say in policy, she only has to secure the president's safety - at all costs.

Excellent book but needed Abby Craden
Revisado: 01-23-20
This book was very good but Abby Craden narrated the rest of the series. Keira Grace did a fine job narrating but it was like changing out the actor in a movie halfway through the movie.

Historia
In Gay Girl, Good God, author Jackie Hill Perry shares her own story, offering practical tools that helped her in the process of finding wholeness. Jackie grew up fatherless and experienced gender confusion. She embraced masculinity and homosexuality with every fiber of her being. She knew that Christians had a lot to say about all of the above. But was she supposed to change herself? How was she supposed to stop loving women, when homosexuality felt more natural to her than heterosexuality ever could?

Not lgbtq friendly
Revisado: 07-30-19
This book makes me very sad for the author. I am Christian and a lesbian. It is so hard for me to listen to this poor woman tell her story and how she left the love of her life to live a “wholesome" life and talk herself into marrying a man because that is what God wanted. It is hard for me to accept our almighty and loving God that knows every part of us would want us to give up our love and happiness to live a lie with someone we don’t truly love.

It really can be an endless summer — if you’re immortal. Though a vampire would be ill-advised to take a cruise to Bermuda, the possibilities for getting away from it all — and maybe snacking on some unsuspecting tourist — are many.

Bad narration
Revisado: 10-11-18
I only got this book for Jeaniene Frost's story and I was extremely disappointed in the narration. The story goes along with the Night Huntress series but they didn't use the same narrator so Bones and Cat's mom weren't even close to how they should sound. It is like the narrator never listened to Tavia Gilbert's performance of the characters

Terrible choice for the narrator
Revisado: 06-02-17
Not the voice I imagined for Anastasia Steele. The narrator sounds like a stuck up spoiled California brat. I imagined Anastasia to sound more refined and down to earth. It was very difficult to listen to this book with this narrator. If the rest of the books are with her then I will just stick to reading them myself
