Historia
Meet Randi Burnett—she’s brilliant, she’s beautiful, and she works for the bride. Missing groom? Intoxicated in-laws? Crying ring-bearer? You name it, she wrangles it. Too bad her personal life isn’t thriving like her side gig as a bridesmaid for hire. Recently dumped, Randi throws herself into her biggest challenge yet when she’s hired as a maid of honor and pretend best friend for an ice queen bride. There’s just one problem—the best man is infuriating, overprotective, and anti-marriage.

Very cute

I did like the story. It’s not what I expected based on the title. I like to follow along with her. She’s such a jewel the guy I’m sorry a bit irritating. I don’t know if I would’ve took him back, but it’s always nice to have a good wrap up in the end.

Historia
Who is Audrey Hoedemaker? It's a question her sister Maureen has heard more times than she can count, and she doesn't know what the short answer would be. Little sister, troubled teen, backpacker, musical theatre coach, con artist, childcare worker. Murderer. A tragic, traumatic childhood casts a long shadow on the Hoedemaker sisters. Maureen has worked hard to move beyond the violence of the past and build a good, honest life for herself. Audrey, however, just can't seem to do the same, careening from one state of chaos to another.

I was not ready for this tournament of events. I followed along for the adventure of Audrey’s life. She just seemed like such a free spirit. The whole time I try to figure out what happened to her though what happened to her? The Twist at the end of this book is wild well worth the read/listen. Five stars.

Historia
Everyone knows who the Fisher brothers are: the hottest single bartenders this side of the Santa Monica Pier. Which is exactly why when I run into Ryan Fisher one day at the beach, I intend to steer clear of him and his sexy, playboy ways. I’ve heard the rumors. I know his type. I’ve seen him in action. And I’m not interested. But Ryan has other ideas. He’s convinced that I have him all wrong. But I don’t have the luxury of making mistakes when it comes to men. Not anymore. Being a single mom does that to a woman.

Sofia is a walking red flag
Revisado: 12-26-24
Spoiler alert: Can I just stop by saying that Sophia is a walking red flag? Ryan would do best to walk straight away from her. I thought I was gonna enjoy a love story but from all of Sophia’s jumping to conclusion, Lying, and making decision decisions for everybody in her life I can’t see this being a successful relationship. She has some serious mental health issues and needs to see counseling before she joins a relationship with anybody. I was so irritated with all of her actions. Ryan seems sweet, but he’s not ready for a relationship either. He is more infatuated than in love. Maybe I should put less logic behind a fictional story. But in my opinion they should be adios Ryan and Sophia.
Read at your own risk, prepared to be irritated as h@ll

Love these episodes. And I absolutely love listening Cobie Smulders narration. This was a great ensemble for mysteries that needed to be solved. All is well in this little town will except for that cliffhanger. This was a great lesson. Highly recommended

Historia
Thirty-nine was a fantastic year. I was married to the man I loved. I had a body that worked without creaking. My grandma, who raised me, was still healthy, and life was pretty damned good. But as they say, all good things come to an end. One year later, I’m a widow. My joints are starting to ache. Gram is in the nursing home, and dead people think my home is some kind of supernatural bed-and-breakfast. Gluing body parts onto semi-transparent people has become a side job - deceased people I’m not even sure are actually there.

Very similar to Charlie Davidson
Revisado: 05-11-24
I really like the story I liked where it was going, but I thought the descriptions in the delay in moving forward were irritating. She would ruminate on things for so long. It was just like rambling conjecture the whole time I was thinking just move forward let the story move forward, what is the other person going to? Stop rambling. I absolutely hated how the story ended with a misunderstanding. It wasn’t bad. Maybe I’m just not a fan of this author style of writing. It might be worth checking out as for me. I’m going back to Charlie.

Good from beginning to end
Revisado: 02-04-24
I haven’t had a book pull me in like this one did in a long time I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It’s a classic there is no honor amongst thieves. I hope that doesn’t give away too much. I wasn’t that surprised by the twist in the end because at this point everyone is a suspect. Great listen!

This is a such a cute story
Revisado: 01-24-24
I thought this was such a cute story. Being put in a predicament of having to ride in a vehicle with someone you were previously involved with. and I love a good road trip story. The thing that almost ruined it for me is the male narrator. It was just awful. There’s no other way to describe it I had to turn the speed up to 1.5 just to make it bearable. Putting the speed on helped tremendously. The female narrator was great. I recommend this book. I also recommend listening to it at 1.5 speed.

One thing bothers me
Revisado: 06-25-23
I really liked the story. I loved following these two sisters one who is happily married with three beautiful little girls and another career sister who’s looking for love. The thing that bothers me is the love that the second sister found this guy insults her and treat her badly from the beginning. I hate that this kind of story line perpetuated. Boy treats girl like crap, girl loves him. Boy continues to treat her like crap until she leaves. He finds her and confesses his love then they live happily ever after. I despise this movie trope. That’s all. Just my opinion. Otherwise the book was really good.

4 stars but still very good.
Revisado: 04-15-23
I was hooked and wanted more after listening to circling the drain. I got a house of crows the same day I’m not gonna lie I was wrapped in the story. I couldn’t stop listening. The more I listened the more analogist the story became to Stephen King’s It. That’s not a bad thing. If you like it, then you’ll like this. The reason I gave at four stars is the writer try to wrap it up in a nice bow at the end but I still feel like it was all too convenient. They never explained the dark man there were a lot of loose ends. Still very good. For the record, I would never go to that Yoga retreat!

Revisado: 04-04-23
It’s such a cute story but Should’ve been called anything but the break up artist. This was such a small part of the story that I almost forgot it was even part of the plot. It was a good book. I liked it I was it was rooting for them to end up together.
