Historia
Having survived their journey into the Dark Heart, Arthur and his dragon, Brixaby, have a new goal: complete their Legendary card sets. Unfortunately, the next Legendary card is locked away in Blood Moon, a hive with a reputation for chaos, lawlessness, scourgling eruptions, and—rumor has it—dedicated dragon hunters. Still, Arthur and his retinue feel they have little to fear. Then again, they also don't have much knowledge of what actually lies ahead.

Shorter then I wood have liked but story is picking up
Revisado: 03-29-25
In the third book the pace has slowed and while I B want unhappy I felt the series was showing down. The 4th book received that as we once again started exploring the world more. This book picks up where the 4th left with the character growth while also maintaining a balance of continuing to expand on unsolved mysteries. With one hour left in the book I wasn’t sure it would get wrapped up nicely but hey it sounded. I wish we would have had more time, it feels like some investment was made in purple ring for example that is kind of irrelevant now. But honestly it’s better to get going. Looking forward to the next one

Revisado: 08-20-24
I think the core idea is pretty good and the mental framing of re teaming as a bio eco cycle along with the patterns and some nice workshops is good
But I didn’t get a book size worthy insight waste of credit , better get as a book so you can skim and look up later when you’re trying to remember some advice if you ever do
I more highly recommend a summary

Historia
There is a world. One of endless night, surrounded by an even deeper darkness. Filled with nightmares come to life, twisted shapes that slink to windows and ease open doors, sliding across floors to look down on helpless faces. There is another world. A bright world, so bright it burns. Filled with stacked stones that call forth miracles, raised by callused hands that tremble in their work, drained with each stone lifted, settled, lifted again.

Advocate for balance
Revisado: 12-09-23
The book takes a rant long time to make it’s point (like really the entire book)
It was difficult to stay tuned as I’m aware of a lot of the literature it talks about
But slowly as I went through the chapters I learned a bit more, I really liked the concept of distinguishing control dopamine from desire dopamine for example
When the book established it’s dopamine charters it started to take about the influence over human life in domains like politics and the influence of this way if behaving
This ultimately built up to an awareness of when we’re acting dopamine-aclly and a case for balance and harmony with some good examples of positive things to peruse
Ultimately things came together at the end , the journey was informative, but the moral was almost lost on me until the end

Historia
Today's "machine-learning" systems, trained by data, are so effective that we've invited them to see and hear for us - and to make decisions on our behalf. But alarm bells are ringing. Systems cull résumés until, years later, we discover that they have inherent gender biases. Algorithms decide bail and parole - and appear to assess black and white defendants differently. We can no longer assume that our mortgage application, or even our medical tests, will be seen by human eyes. And autonomous vehicles on our streets can injure or kill.

Some nice insights always a good reminder of things you may have known in the back of your mind and a good validation of things that matter from some social studies. Definitely nudged my behaviour
Author markets herself too much, I sort got the book I didn’t like feeling like I’m hearing a ad in the first few chapters

Captivating
Revisado: 03-23-19
I usually listen to audiobooks in my commute or other similar times that audiobooks make more productive than it otherwise would be.
But I found myself drawn in this story that I thought it well worth it to stop my regular time and effectively binge this all through the night.
The story aside the narration is perhaps even more captivating.
Truly a great piece of thrilling fiction and I wonder how long till a Netflix series would come out as it would be interesting to see how the very well directing within the book would carry forward to the screen.
I am thoroughly satisfied, and now back to life 🐕
