I've found very few books that I will go through more than once, but I've listened to this one several times. Tackling the hard questions of faith is no easy task, but Heaven's Wager takes the challenge head-on.

What was most disappointing about Robert Greene’s story?
The overly repetitive theme that somehow dishonesty is the only/best path to power is nonsense. I wouldn't want a friend, a co-worker, a spouse, a leader, or anyone, operating under the delusion that the perversion of truth is the ultimate form of power. What a wast of time to believe that suggestions in this book will result in any type of lasting satisfaction. This book is a prime example of "live by the sword, die by the sword."
If you are looking for a book that will help you identify when someone is taking advantage of you in the areas of power...keep looking!

I prefer to hear an author read his/her book, and House is a prime example of taking a work to the next level. Frank Peretti brings the characters to life with true vocal animation that takes the guesswork out of imagining the characters??? subtleties.

Great for road trips

The entire Left Behind Kids series is an excellent listen for longer road trips. My children (12, 10) enjoyed each volume, and it was entertaining for myself as well. I am thrilled to support Christian based entertainment when it is well done, and the performance style of this series holds your attention.
It should be noted that I have not read any of the books prior to listening to these dramatized versions???kind of like watching a movie before reading the book, there are probably some artistic liberties taken.

Excellent Book

If you are looking for a practical, no-nonsense, Christian perspective to getting your life on the right track???this is an excellent read/listen. I???ve heard Andy Stanly many times (via podcast) and although the author does not read it, the narrator does a good job in keeping similar nuances. Very few non-fiction books have captured my attention to listen multiple times; I am on my 3rd time through this book.
