Historia
Milton Frederick never had the chance to live out his life as a professional gamer on Earth, mainly because he was abducted by aliens. Unfortunately, he wasn’t returned home after the typical probing associated with such things to tell an unbelievable story to his friends. Instead, he was summarily killed and his consciousness was inserted into a Station Core, a giant, metal, egg-shaped object that could use technology to create traps, Combat Units, and other defenses to protect not just himself, but those he cared about.

I started out with the Dungeon World box set. It was FANTASTIC. When I got to the bonus story and found out there was possibly a multiverse of this world, I went rabid trying to find what book/series it was connected to. All I had to go off of was Milton. After multiple hours of searching, I stumbled on the Station Core series. I also fell in love with the story and world building there. Now I am here, and I haven't been so hyped for a series in a long, long time. Without having read the series connected in this first book yet, I love the reasoning and execution of the multiversal travels and the connection Milton has with individuals from the other dimensions. As someone who is a big stickler for those aspects, this author has it down pat and then some. I HIGHLY recommend all 3 series and probably even the rest of this expansive universe.
