I am Speechless
Revisado: 12-09-21
I can't express the whirlwind of emotions this series made me feel, how after finishing the last two books filled me with anxiety and dread to start the next one. I waited so long to start the last book because I feared the ending, and oh my gosh I cried. The Chaos Walking series has settled itself as my new current favorite series that I've had the pleasure to listen to. Amazing performances and such an incredible translation from the way the noise is portrayed in the books to spoken version!!!!

Historia
Leland Gaunt opens a new shop in Castle Rock called Needful Things. Anyone who enters his store finds the object of his or her lifelong dreams and desires: a prized baseball card, a healing amulet. In addition to a token payment, Gaunt requests that each person perform a little "deed", usually a seemingly innocent prank played on someone else from town. These practical jokes cascade out of control, and soon the entire town is doing battle with itself. Only Sheriff Alan Pangborn suspects that Gaunt is behind the population's increasingly violent behavior.

Awaiting what's next!
Revisado: 04-23-21
I always enjoyed how incredibly diverse Miss Clare's books are, and I'm happy that they finally gave us a proper polyamory love. It agitated me that in the Infernal Devices Tessa couldn't bear to choose, but for the time Tessa grew up in I can understand her turmoil.
I am happy for the vast representation as always, and enjoyed our new diverse cast, I hope it keeps growing.
I enjoyed this book greatly even though I felt like some parts were a little too "Spicy," this series is still a YA novel, which isn't really targeted towards my age group anymore (I am currently 23).
The Cohort was let go too easily I believed. Justice for those who had suffered lost should always be paid, I understand that revenge can lead to greater agony, and honestly the Shadowhunters truly should open a mundane history book, they could definitely learn something.
I Enjoyed greatly the Narrator, I felt a little shock at first when I realized that it was switching to a masculine voice, but honestly they brought this book to life!! Amazing performance, although I listen to my books at 1.60x-1.80x speed so take what I say with a grain of salt. I would love to hear them again, 10/10 execution and performance.

Historia
Twelve-year-old Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school...again. No matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to stay out of trouble. But can he really be expected to stand by and watch while a bully picks on his scrawny best friend? Or not defend himself against his pre-algebra teacher when she turns into a monster and tries to kill him? Of course, no one believes Percy about the monster incident; he's not even sure he believes himself.

Historia
Magnus Chase has always been a troubled kid. Since his mother's mysterious death, he's lived alone on the streets of Boston, surviving by his wits, keeping one step ahead of the police and the truant officers. One day, he's tracked down by an uncle he barely knows - a man his mother claimed was dangerous. Uncle Randolph tells him an impossible secret: Magnus is the son of a Norse god. The Viking myths are true. The gods of Asgard are preparing for war. Trolls, giants and worse monsters are stirring for doomsday.

I enjoyed it will enough, it had many sad turns, but I do like how it shows that we can't always get what we want, and I'm excited for the next few books to finish off the series.

Agitating
Revisado: 03-20-21
Love really makes you do stupid things, but probably the worst part of it is the pain that love can bring you and morph how your thought process is. This book was agitating to listen to because it showed that everything would have turn out alright if people just talked to each other honestly with nothing hidden. As much as hearing thw truth hurts, so does speaking it but the truth is better than a lie or secrecy.

To save her mother's life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters - never mind that entering the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death. To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, and Simon has been thrown in prison by the Shadowhunters, who are deeply suspicious of a vampire who can withstand sunlight.
