Historia
Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

Voice changed
Revisado: 07-29-22
The story is good but this version where they used multiple people to do the same voice makes things very confusing. They needed one person that can do multiple voices or be consistent with the voice actor for a single character.

Historia
Paris, 1938: As the shadow of war darkens Europe, democratic forces on the Continent struggle against fascism and communism, while in Spain the war has already begun. Alan Furst, whom Vince Flynn has called "the most talented espionage novelist of our generation", now gives us a taut, suspenseful, romantic, and richly rendered novel of spies and secret operatives in Paris and New York, in Warsaw and Odessa, on the eve of World War II.

History and Geography wrapped up in such beautifully written prose
Revisado: 03-04-20
This book is amazing! The stories are all so interesting and leave you in the edge of your seat. The performances are all top notch and keep you entranced with the voices and much is to accompany the prose.

Historia
Paris, a winter night in 1938: a murder/suicide at a discreet lovers' hotel. But this is no romantic tragedy, it is the work of the OVRA, Mussolini's fascist secret police, and is meant to eliminate the editor of Liberazione, a clandestine emigre newspaper. Carlo Weisz, a foreign correspondent with the Reuters bureau, becomes the new editor.
