Picture of life's choices and Struggles
Revisado: 01-29-24
Great story! I could not do it justice. All the complexities of life from childhood and how it affects our handling of our children when we are grown. Also love how it shows a growing relationship with God and how we wrestle with our faith and draw closer to God and learn to pray about everything. Beautifully written. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

All My Knotted-Up Life is a beautifully crafted portrait of resilience and survival, a poignant reminder of God’s enduring faithfulness, and proof positive that if we ever truly took the time to hear people’s full stories . . . we’d all walk around slack-jawed.

Loved this book. Well read. Would not have been the same without Beth's voice reading. Quite the journey. So glad for the hope we have found in Jesus! So encouraging to keep pressing on and into Jesus until we meet on the other side—the garden of heaven with our Lord. Thank you Beth for your honesty and transparency

Historia
Larkspur Nielsen is ready for a change. Her parents have passed on, and her older brother is successfully running the family business. She bristles at the small-mindedness that permeates life in her small Ohio community, and she sees little chance of a satisfying future there. She has a little money saved, and after turning the tables on a crooked gambler who had fleeced several locals, including her younger brother, she can stake a new start for herself and her three sisters.

I enjoyed this story from beginning to end. The presentation was lovely. I like that faith in God was threaded throughout the story as part of daily life.

The heart of God! He wants us to know Him!
Revisado: 06-19-22
Excellent story! God wants us to know Him! I love this presentation. I do believe it is blessed by God and presents His heart for mankind to come near to Him and trust Him even when we go through the hard stuff.
I believe the character of God is fairly accurately presented though, as indicated in the book, if we knew God 100% for who he is he wouldn't really be God. God is and should always be a mystery to us human beings. It's wonderful how he unfolds the mystery of his character as we grow in Grace through his sanctification process.
I love that the story has answers for a lot of our questions and hurts that we experience when we don't know God very well. Thank you for the story. It is definitely worth sharing.

This is a beautiful story of love and pain and sacrifice interwoven in with evil and choices that surround us. Taking care of sick people at the end of their life is hard but necessary. I love how this story wove together. A life lived to benefit others.

Riveting! Great faith based story!
Revisado: 03-21-21
Great story! Wonderful narration! The hard things make us better but we do need to go through them to get better. Physical healing is a small thing compared to healing of mind, soul, and spirit but all the things are possible with God. Loved the journey through the pages and return to unity of hearts of broken hearts.

Revisado: 03-19-21
Great stories on how to live well and with hope in various seemingly impossible situations in life. I enjoyed and appreciate the uplifting encouragement found in this story. I may return to it to review again. The narration was great. However, Alex tended to fade too much at times.
