This has been useful to help me get to sleep many times. Lately I’ve been worrying a lot with the lock downs and the coronavirus threat and the uncertain financial future of everyone. I have been waking up worrying in the middle of the night. This has helped to soothe my thoughts, take my mind off my troubles and get me to sleep again.

Love the real audio footage!

This book is phenomenal. I will probably listen to it a few times. Lots of history and lots to learn. This makes the past come alive! It help one understand the joys and also the sorrow of the struggles during various times.
Please, PLEASE do another book with the later dates. 1950 to 2000 or 2020. I would buy it.

I’ve been a long time fan of Craig’s late night show. He is a fascinating intelligent person with a great story to tell. It’s funny, touching and sad sometimes. I’m glad I got this book.

When I first started this audible book, I thought it was going to be difficult to keep track of all the names and places. I continued on and was rewarded with a very informative book. It unfortunately confirmed a lot of my biases about current people in prominent positions. This information needs to see the light of day. This is very uplifting and it’s great to see justice finally being served!
This author is not just an attractive human being but an honest thoughtful hero for the downtrodden. I would not hesitate to buy another book by Mr. Farrow.

Music was good until it was not.

I found the music beautiful until the story drew to an end when it became annoying and interfered with the story. The story itself was fairly interesting but it was pretty much about a selfish man that did what he wanted and left the consequences to everyone else. Very devastating for all those involved. It’s too bad.

I’m a woman that sees porn as boring. When I look at porn it seems so ridiculous. In my head I imagine the cameras and lights people and the general business of it.
This book was anything but boring. Jon Ronson knows how to keep you guessing as he weaves this story back and forth. It was fascinating and tragic. Unfortunately it includes a beautiful woman that was both needy and out of control who saw no alternative than to take her life.

My favorite author!

David Sedaris is my very favorite storyteller. I now own 5 of his Audiobooks, some that I've laughed my way through several times. His sense of humor is unusual. You won't hear anything else like it.
There are some very poignant pieces. He makes me think, he makes me laugh, there is some sadness and the ick factor comes in occasionally but it's always interesting. I don't know why exactly but it's not my job to understand. I just enjoy.
I'm glad I listened all the way through the credits for the fun at the end. Brilliant!

I'm so grateful for all the doctors and scientists who put their necks on the chopping block so that we could have this information. Because of these people I expect never to be at the mercy of the medical establishment for any of the avoidable diet related diseases. I can take control of my health! Something I never would have known without this book.

Johnny Cash had an interesting but very conflicted life. This was a good listen. I loved the performance. I could listen to that guy all day.
