Historia
On October 1, 2015, Hurricane Joaquin barreled into the Bermuda Triangle and swallowed the container ship El Faro whole, resulting in the worst American shipping disaster in 35 years. No one could fathom how a vessel equipped with satellite communications and a sophisticated navigation system could suddenly vanish - until now. Relying on hundreds of exclusive interviews with family members and maritime experts, as well as the words of the crew members themselves - whose conversations were captured by the ship’s data recorder - journalist Rachel Slade unravels the mystery.

Well-written, engaging, heartfelt, and informative

This book was fantastic! Almost completely gripping from start to finish with very few areas that didn't totally grasp my attention. What an amazing story, with lots of interesting information on tracking storms and the shipping industry. The narrator did a great job, but that's not hard to do with a book like this. This is how every non-fiction book should be written - storytelling with short spurts of factual/explanatory information. I have a very hard time staying invested in an audiobook if all it is doing is throwing fact after fact at me without any storytelling. This book did a great job of painting the picture of such an amazing and tragic story, with glimpses into the lives of the different key players, and also peppering the story with all the facts. Loved it!

Historia
In 2014, Theranos founder and CEO Elizabeth Holmes was widely seen as the next Steve Jobs: a brilliant Stanford dropout whose startup “unicorn” promised to revolutionize the medical industry with its breakthrough device, which performed the whole range of laboratory tests from a single drop of blood. Backed by investors such as Larry Ellison and Tim Draper, Theranos sold shares in a fundraising round that valued the company at more than $9 billion, putting Holmes’s worth at an estimated $4.5 billion.

Somewhat interesting but not very entertaining

I found this book a little hard to follow. The subject matter is/was interesting but it was presented in a manner that is not to my liking. There were so many people involved who were minor contributors to the whole story, which made it difficult to remember them and why they were important. In my opinion, it could have been much more concise. The narrator was okay.

Historia
Sarah Forbes was in graduate school when she stumbled upon a museum dedicated to...sex. The anthropology student hesitated when her boyfriend suggested that she apply for a job, but apply she did, and it wasn't long before a part-time position at New York's Museum of Sex led to a gig as the museum's curator. That was over 12 years ago. Now Sarah - a married mother of two - proudly sports her title as Curator of Sex.

Interesting story and would have given more stars if it weren't for the narrator. Her voice sounded very tight and almost strained. It didn't match the content in my opinion and took away from the overall story.
