I love these books, the Halle shifters are one of the best I've read and now listened, Tabby is the main character in this one, but you get to step into the Halle world and its wonderful cast of fun and lovable characters, the dynamic between the girls is amazing and sometimes hilarious, think fog horns and rolled up newspapers to the nose. So if you love sexy stories with soft moments, scary ones and goofy goodness, well this series is for you. Have fun

A darker Argenau story

This book is a lot rougher than the others, so beware, Devine (or Basha) has had a very rought time of it in the past, this books mostly is the uncovering of that dark past, not a fun life. This not a light book. I would have like a bit more humour to help remove some of the darkness, especially at the end. Not a bad book, but a darker version of the Argeneau series.

The Blayne Train!

take to opposite, one messy and all over the place, and one very strick and organised shifter with time issue and you got the funniest couple in this series, this odd couple is so fun to follow and observe fall in love. This is my favorite in this series, and thought it's a bit darker than the others, it's also one of the funniest. Have fun!

I've read this one I don't know how many times, and I still love it, thought I like Cynthia Eden, the draw for me is always the pack series, and Shelly Laurenston. Her humor is addictive. I was a bit surprised by the male narrator, but he did put an interesting twist to a favorite story. More please, books 4 to 8 are hilarious, and the novellas here and there a often more than interesting, filing in some details of this weird but wonderfull world.

2 stories for the price of one

You get two stories in this one, Dez and Mace, and Ronnies and Shaw, thought my favorite is Dez and Mace, I love the byplay between the characters, and the reader brought that very well into the audio world, the longer stories are even better, with more dept and yes you'll see these characters all throught the series, so they have roles to play in the futur of this alluring world. Have fun. More please

One of my favorite series of all time

Where does The Beast in Him rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Pretty good, the byplay is fun as usual and of the 3 that are at the moment in audio, this one is the best bet

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jessica of course, I can relate being a geek myself

What does Charlotte Kane bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She's actually pretty perfect for these books, she brings in the sense of fun that I really love about the pride series

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The allergy scene in the appartement, it showed that Smitty did really remembered her and cared about her.

more please, I really like Dez and Mace, this one as well but my favorites ones are later in the series, I do hope Blaine's book is in the future, and Dee Ann, and Malone, all of the books after Mitch and Sissy are fun and full of ups and downs, making the characters alive and interesting. Of course if you like these, check G.A. Aiken, it's the same author just different name and about a dragons world. Good if you like strong women, and there dragons.

Something is missing, Ah Yes! the action

What did you like best about The Husband List? What did you like least?

Lorelei King, easy the constant torment of Caroline by her mother

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

There is not enough action at least not for a Evanovich book, no explosion, no car chase thouth in this world it would have been a carriage chase, the book is not bad, but it's missing the action where used too, and it shows.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Caroline has the bad guy at gun point and Jack propose

Was The Husband List worth the listening time?

yes and no, I was willing to give the book a chance, but if I knew the only really big action was at the end I would have skipped a lot of chapters, I almost left the story a few times, I like old style tales, but even those need a few bumps in the road to interest me, this book was more about pleasing the parents and sneaking around, cute but booring after a while.

Any additional comments?

if you love a sweet and slow romance with not much action, this is for you, but if you need more Kaboom in a Evanovich book then go in another direction, thought you do get the happy ending, it's slow and sometimes frustrating to get there.

This one of my favorite Dark Ones books, it's funny, full of action and impossible situations

What does Hillary Huber bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I've read this book, several times actually since it's one of my Katie Macalister favorite. Thought I had a few hesitation at first getting to know the voices created for beloved characters, I had so much fun once the action started.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Betrayer or Betrayed or The cursed one

I've been hoping for years for this one, I'm very happy of the result so please more Katie Macalister, The Corset Diaries next please, then Hard days knight and Blow me Down, those 3 are the best, I would also love to hear Noble Intention and Noble Destiny.

Cassie and Calder of course

What about Gillian Vance’s performance did you like?

I've listened to several readers, I would I like a more masculine voice for Calder, but the storie was well told, so I'm happy with it

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I've read this book before, under another title a few years back, loved it then, still do, the emotions are more sutle in this kind of books, more under the skin than tossed around but it's worth getting into this world and exploring it.

Any additional comments?

I love Abigail Reynolds books, there not thrillers but the pace is slow and you learn about the characters as go along, if you like a slow but steady romance with a few Austen twists, this is the book for you
