Historia
Prayer is the key that unlocks all the storehouses of God’s infinite grace and power. All that God is, and all that God has, is at the disposal of prayer; but we must use the key. Prayer can do anything that God can do, and since God can do anything, prayer is omnipotent. No one can stand against the person who knows how to pray, who meets all the conditions of prevailing prayer, and who really prays, and if they are willing to pay the price. The price is prayer, much prayer, much real prayer, prayer in the Holy Spirit.

One of the most powerful books I have ever read.
Revisado: 12-03-23
The author did the most incredible job of not only explaining how to pray but a historical analogy of help of how Prayer has made such profound changes Throughout the Beginning of Time to modern dand how prayer is the only way to make significant changes not only in one's life but in resurrecting Countries. The country needs over the world needs a mass revivals And prayers must be conducted in the correct way. He Gives countless
Examples of how the power of prayer has changed so many things. I had an Epiphany p*** in the that brought me to tears and made me realize so many things.
That can be accomplished to prayer.
And how to correctly pray. He spoke
Like no other author I have listened to in the hundreds of audible mailbox. I have and in fact, I've listened to this 3 times and will continue to listen to It. . I just can't emphasize what a profound change. This is made in my life. Prayer must be done correctly And With God In your presence.. One must be absolutely sure.
The God is listening is generally only one and a 100 people.
Pray correctly. And I found myself over the past few days. Asking myself would this be pleasing to God. I have forgiven those who have in my heart in my heart wronged me or that I feel that have wrong to me and I have what go of grudges that I've held on to 50 years. I just Can't emphasize enof the powerfulness of this book. And I recommend it to all. Who really want to make a profound change in their lives, It's a lifetime commitment and it won't happen Overnight. God does listen to your prayers when done properly. And when in his presence. I I'm disabled and in much pain and after reflecting over My fifty nine years of life And I've come to great understanding of things that I have done that. We're not pleasing to God. Prayer is the single most important thing we can do.
And it must be done properly in the presence of God.. I could go on and on.
But my but by far this is one of the most excellent books I Have ever listened to. I can't stress enough the importance.
Of reading this Book. Hope Has not been lost but it's right on The Verge of destroying this world and through the power prayer we can Make changes and we need to do it now through the power Of properly Done prayer. thank you to the author and narrator who did a phenomenal job.It truly has Made a profound impact on my life and it will on yours too.

Learning the true meaning of the 10 commandments.
Revisado: 11-30-23
The author explains in Great detail the totality of what the 10 commandments truly mean. It's much more than just reciting the 10 commandments. It goes into explaining the full meaning. I am a Christian and had no idea just what each of them encompassed, This is a Book that 1 could listen to everyday and still learn new things. It has given me many things to think about. It pointed out so much more than I had no idea about. And I will be listening to it very frequently and trying too live by the LORDS way. It really will give you many things to strive for and think about what the say and do. I highly recommend it for anyone who truly wants to live HIS way. I have found myself asking "would this please the LORD " dozens of times a day. EXCELLENT BOOK No matter what your favorite is or how do you practice your daily life. thank you.

HAPPY 79TH BIRTHDAY 1/9/23 , Jimmy!
Revisado: 01-10-23
Excellent book as ALL of them are! I have listened to these many times and I never get tired of it and I always find something new that I missed on previous reading. I don't think we'll ever know the entire truth of their 11 years of rock and roll. I enjoy every second of it. I did notice some mistakes like when they stated John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page were both 21 at the same time that would be impossible Jonesy was born January 4th, 1946 and Page was born January 9th 1944 so they'd be a year and 5 days apart at one time but never 21 years old at the same time. Jimmy Page has a wonderful coffee table book written by him was wonderful pictures and a chronological story of his life. That's definitely worth reading as well in addition to the Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin book. Many wonderful live concert dvds are available as well as the ones on YouTube. I'm kind of a Led Zeppelin fanatic, but I believe they are the best band there ever was far above the Beatles with their bubble gum pop music better than the who and I will believe that Page was a better guitarist than Jimi Hendrix because look who's still alive and look who's dead. they both had a different style; just sad that heroin got in the way as it does with so many. heroin and cocaine very tragic. nonetheless any of these books you read you'll find something different in every one of them.

Excellent history of Marr's career. Well spoken .
Revisado: 12-01-20
Very good outline of Marr's career. He did an excellent job telling the story. My one disagreement is that entertainers, sports figures and those who share their gifts with us, should stay OUT of politics and other controversial issues. I listen to music and watch sports to escape reality, if you will, and to have all the crap we're trying to just avoid for a while brought up over and over, is real turn off. It's one of the main reasons I don't watch any professional sports anymore. I used to be a big fan of a long-time popular group, but when he started getting radical, I threw away every CD I had of his. This person was not even an American citizen! Besides, America has probably made you a lot of money, so keep your mouth shut about controversial issues and just provide us some entertainment!

Revisado: 11-29-20
I am clueless as to how this audiobook received such high ratings. Perhaps if I had read his other books, I might have some appreciation however, not a single biography I have read felt like I was at a revival.
This book was five minutes about his reunion with Korn and the rest about his daughter's manipulation and controlling of his life combined with sermons, prayers, Bible verses and speeches about God.
This was one of the worst of the hundred biographies I've read. It should have been classified in the religious and spirituality section not strictly memoirs. I am a Christian and know that God helps many people, including other celebrities and entertainers I've read about, but they don't spend the entire book talking about it. I could hardly get through it. I had to speed it up and couldn't wait for it to end.

"Unvarnished. Funny. Leaving no stone unturned"...So say the publishers about this audiobook I've written. What I say is that this is the story of my life, told as clear as a Texas sky and in the same rhythm that I lived it. It's a story of restlessness and the purity of the moment and living right. Of my childhood in Abbott, Texas, to the Pacific Northwest, from Nashville to Hawaii, and all the way back again. Of selling vacuum cleaners and encyclopedias while hosting radio shows and writing song after song, hoping to strike gold.

He did a good job narrating, but blames others for his problems. He slants or omits facts to fit his point of view. Little mention of siblings. Definitely a narcissist. I only bough bought because of sale. Never a fan, but am open minded. I think he just needed money given he now has 4 kids and is in his sixties hosting a game show!
One last thing, Alec, until Obama and most of his administration are prosecuted in jailed, there will never be liberty and justice for all! Trump 2020!

Historia
The music of Frank Sinatra, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and many other artists provides the score to the reflections of a musician on the road in this memoir of Neil Peart's travels from Los Angeles to Big Bend National Park. The emotional associations and stories behind each album Peart plays guide his recollections of his childhood on Lake Ontario, the first bands that he performed with, and his travels with the band Rush. The evocative and resonant writing vividly captures the meanderings of a musical mind.

I'm the Man is the fast-paced, humorous, and revealing memoir from the man who co-founded Anthrax, the band that proved to the masses that brutality and fun didn't have to be mutually exclusive. Through various lineup shifts, label snafus, rock 'n' roll mayhem, and unforeseen circumstances galore, Scott Ian has approached life and music with a smile, viewing the band with deadly seriousness while recognizing the ridiculousness of the entertainment industry.

I have listened to, waiting to hear or have in my Wishlist nearly every Metal Bio. I love when authors read their stories. Nice tie in with the other three metal bands. My only complaint is the unnecessary political stereotyping.
