Historia
As a child, Paul Scheer developed a taste for cola mixed with milk from his favorite television show. Sounds like a habit one would eventually grow out of, but as Walt Disney once said, “that’s the real trouble with the world: too many people grow up.” Featuring Paul’s dad Bill, and Seth’s parents too. Listen to Paul Scheer's podcast "Unspooled" wherever podcasts are found. And check out Paul's Twitch channel at twitch.tv/friendzone. Paul has a weekly Thursday show with Rob Huebel and curates an awesome lineup of other programming throughout the month. Get access to all the ...

Oh no!
Revisado: 09-06-22
A hilarious story - as expected from two super funny friends - with just the right touch of gross catastrophe. Thoroughly enjoyed this episode and the podcast as a whole!

Historia
Most people think of themselves as “good", but it’s not always easy to determine what’s “good” or “bad” - especially in a world filled with complicated choices and pitfalls and booby traps and bad advice. Fortunately, many smart philosophers have been pondering this conundrum for millennia, and they have guidance for us. With bright wit and deep insight, How to Be Perfect explains concepts like deontology, utilitarianism, existentialism, ubuntu, and more, so we can sound cool at parties and become better people.

Let’s be better
Revisado: 07-23-22
The performances are engaging, as is the subject matter. It spoke to my struggle to be a good person and also hold myself - and others - to reasonably demanding standards. In other words, to just be a little better every day. Thanks to Mike Schur and all who contributed!

Excellent crash course

I really appreciated the brevity of this book. There are many similar books that are much longer, and this really gets to the heart of what’s necessary for to create a scaffolding to shift from living life in a “default” mode to an “intentional” mode.

Excellent history

Gould packs this book with social and musical history. It’s a fascinating story of a time in America for civil rights and the explosion of musical genres in US and beyond highly recommended. Plus, I love Otis Redding.
