We dive into the science behind Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)—does it actually help with blood sugar, weight loss, digestion, and overall health, or is it just another overhyped wellness trend? You are trying to decide if you should work with the Bragg apple cider vinegar people as a sponsor. No matter what you say about it you are going to be seen as an advocate. If you don’t believe that this stuff is good for people, don’t accept the sponsorship. I don’t think you can nuance your way out of what is likely to be the public perceptions.

Good interview. You Promised an excerpt from the book.
I wonder if you would consider a longer podcast on important subjects like this. I follow 15 podcasts. Yours are the shortest. If I do a one hour row or bike ride, it’s great to listen to single podcast.

Intense, passionate, high energy guest.
Revisado: 07-20-24
I enjoyed this podcast. I’m 67 years old and I’m not huge into social media, but maybe I should give it a shot. I like the emphasis on focusing on your individual uniqueness. Just think about something you really want to say about something you know a lot about. Don’t focus so much on trying to be an expert on everything or have an opinion on everything.
The guest spoke really fast and I found that a little hard to follow. I also wish Ryan could speak more and the guest speak less, but that depends on the guest I suppose.
Maybe at the end of the podcast, Ryan could record his own views about the episode and help us with a summary and perhaps his own Stoic perspective on everything that they covered. Kind of a brief recap.

The ethics of being a podcaster
Revisado: 07-14-24
I’m a follower of the daily stoic and a reader of many books on stoicism. Doing the right thing, having a sense of ethics, justice, being a responsible adult whatever your job is, are all so very important to ourselves individually and to society. It is a tragedy how many people don’t give a foo about this and focus mainly on fame and money. Thank you very much to Ryan and his guest for calling this out. The next podcast I would love to see is how I brought a guest onto my show thinking that they would say or do something and how they completely blindsided me.

Historia
We live our lives word by word - to build our relationships, to convey our points of view, to object to wrongs done to us or to others, to comfort our children and our friends. We also use the wrong words - sometimes unknowingly - and get ourselves into situations we'd rather not be in. As Stephen R. Covey points out in his introduction: "Words sell and words repel; Words lead and words impede; Words heal and words kill."

Revisado: 09-01-17
I was so unprepared for this book ! Within the first 5 minutes, I started to feel queasy, and 1 minute later I was disgusted.. I will never listen to/read this author again. What a bizarre imagination to write this graphic horrible type material. To each his own as they say but this was NOT FOR ME.

WAY OVERHYPED
Revisado: 06-03-17
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
This story was dreary, depressing and boring. I am so sorry I wasted my time. The media built this up to epic expectations because of the mini-series. Meh. I want my 10 hours back. I am NOT a better person for having slogged through this downer.
