This book has so many layers. The story kept my attention from word one, to the end. I only write reviews for books that truly affected me, so this is one of them. I did read the book during a time that I couldn't listen, but it was not the same, so I stopped it until the next day. This narrator brought this book to life in the most unbelievable way. He is truly a talented actor. I have 2 favorite narrators, but now I have 3. Sometimes when I feel the story has finished it up to my satisfaction I will skip the epilogue. DON'T skip it. The epilogue threw out more deep parts of the story and was just such an awesome way to tie things up. The only negative thing about the story is that I don't think there is a person in this world that is as kind and open minded as Vaughn is. I would find it to be the absolute best treasure to have a friend like that IRL.

I read ALOT. Like, all the badges alot. This was one of the best books I have read and listened to within the last year, maybe more. I just read so much I can't think back that far. I realllllly thought I had it figured out and still couldn't wait to turn each page and then BAM. Never saw it coming. This book has everything. The heat, the feels, the mystery, the fright, and the love.

Chris Chambers

I literally sought out this book based on the narrator, who has become my absolute favorite. The story is sweet and romantic with low angst. Enough to make it a worthwhile love story but without a lot of negative drama. I hope this author has more books with Chris Chambers as the narrator. I am off to go search right now!

Uplifting Love Story

I absolutely loved the way this story focuses on the good more than the sad. It depicts the relationship between the men with no homophobia or closeted drama which is so refreshing. Their story even segues into addressing some LGBTQ+ restrictions that are very outdated (no spoilers). I even googled it, and it is actually something that has changed in real world time. It keeps to the relevance of their love story and adds depth to the characters which again, is so refreshing. Loved it!!!

THIS is one of my favorites

Sometimes when go to pick my next book I have to try and make sure in my mind I haven't already read it (I read a lot, so yes this happens). This particular book has actually stuck with me to the point that I think about it while reading other books. I compare little things that happen in them and think back to how this book portrayed a similar scene and this one always sounds better. The narrator's voice enhanced this book and it is probably what helped it to truly stay with me. The story is so different, super hot, and also very, very sweet. I have been making my way through the author's other books and when I am finished there, I plan to search out other books this narrator has done.

Hot and Romantic

Here is another book by Lucy Lennox that was engaging right out of the gate and was such a unique story, it kept me interested to the point I was annoyed when I had to pause it to go to work or talk to my family. (haha? you decide). I have officially read enough audiobooks to have preferred narrators and Michael Dean is top 3! This is a great story with so much hotness and romance, they compliment each other perfectly.

I LOVE this author because of course the stories are always romantic and fun and the angst is low (I just can't with the painful dramas when I read to actually relax). I haven't reviewed many other audio books, but had to do this one because it has made my top 10.

Amazing

This book was a crazygood surprise. The story hit the ground running within the first 2 minutes and did not stop. The writing flowed at a perfect pace and the narrators did it justice. The plot had a lot of erotic scenes, which is exactly why I wanted to read it, and a substantial amount of a backstory that classied it up. I am going to look for more books from this author now...

This story was EXCELLENT and I would not have put it down as often as I did, but my God. I couldn't stop crying in some of these scenes. I loved,loved, loved this book and the narration was perfect.
