Revisado: 03-21-25

Overall Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ½ (3.5/5)
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (3/5 There’s some steam, but it’s not super explicit.)
Narration: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ½ (3.5/5 Good, but could’ve used more depth and emotion.)

Okay, so The Alpha’s Salvation was a wild little ride! We’ve got mysterious disappearances, shifters, rival packs, and a mate bond that is impossible to ignore. The book was short—only 6 chapters—but it still packed a punch. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did given how short it was, but it definitely kept my attention. The romance is sweet, and the whole "fated mates" concept was fun. I was hooked on the plot, even though there were a few predictable moments.

Megan did an okay job with the narration. Her voice is clear and easy to listen to, but I wasn’t blown away. There wasn’t a lot of variation in her character voices, and she didn’t add much emotion to the dramatic moments, which made it hard to feel in the story sometimes. That said, I didn’t mind it—I just wish there had been a bit more energy or variation in her performance to really elevate the book.

Would I Recommend It?

I would recommend this to anyone who loves shifter romance, quick reads, or the "fated mates" trope. It’s a fun little escape with a bit of action and a lot of chemistry. It’s not a huge commitment since it’s short, so if you want something quick and entertaining, this is your book.

Narration: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 – Phenomenal!)
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (3/5 – Steamy but not over-the-top)

Summary:
Priscilla and Riordan have a shared, messy history—one filled with love, betrayal, and violence. She’s an FBI agent; he’s the Irish mob underboss. When a bullet puts Priscilla back into Riordan’s orbit, she wakes up with a ring on her finger and a whole lot of enemies at her back. This marriage is more than a convenience; it’s a dangerous game of secrets, survival, and sizzling tension.

Deborah Garland crafts a story that’s part romantic suspense, part mafia drama, and all heart-pounding tension. With a mix of Irish and Russian mafia elements, betrayal, and an intense love story, this audiobook is a must for fans of the enemies-to-lovers and forced marriage tropes.

Review:
I love this series! Riordan O’Rourke is everything you want in a mafia hero—ruthless, fiercely protective, and rocking that swoon-worthy Irish accent. And Priscilla? She’s a badass FBI agent who doesn’t take crap from anyone, even when she's thrown into a forced marriage with her childhood protector-turned-enemy.

The blend of suspense, angst, and undeniable chemistry made it hard to stop listening. And let’s not forget the narrators—Lexi Evans, Logan Anare, Tyler Griffin, and Troy Duran brought so much life to this book. They deserve every single one of those 5 stars!

This audiobook is a wild, emotional ride. The narrators made the characters leap off the page (er, out of the headphones?), especially Logan Anare and Troy Duran with their rich accents and commanding performances. The chemistry between Riordan and Priscilla was undeniable, and while I wanted more of them together, the tension kept me riveted.

Would I recommend this? Absolutely, especially for fans of mafia romance or duet narration audiobooks. The mix of action, romance, and sizzling tension makes Sleeping with the Enemy a standout.

Revisado: 01-01-25

Overall Story: 🌟🌟🌟🌟½ (4.5/5)
Narration: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (5/5)
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️ (Just the right amount of sweetness and tension. Think stolen kisses under the mistletoe rather than full-on fire.)

Holly Hart is a ghostwriter with big dreams, but she’s stuck in a Christmas-obsessed town and haunted by her ex-boyfriend Elliot’s bestselling novel, which twisted their love story. When given the chance to ghostwrite a Christmas romance, Holly decides to settle the score by telling her version of the story. But with Elliot back in town and a blizzard of emotions brewing, Holly must decide whether to cling to the past or embrace the possibility of a new chapter.

This book gave me cozy Hallmark movie vibes with a twist. Holly Hart, the ultimate Christmas grinch with a relatable chip on her shoulder, is stuck in a town that breathes holiday cheer and obsesses over her ex-boyfriend, Elliot. The premise had me intrigued: revenge via a ghostwritten Christmas romance? Sign me up!
Laura Greaves’ narration pulled me in immediately. She captured Holly’s snarky wit and vulnerability perfectly while nailing the charm and tension between the characters. Her voice gave the story extra warmth and humour, which made it even more enjoyable.

Would I Recommend This Book?
Absolutely! If you love second-chance romances with small-town charm, a dash of festive chaos, and a slow-burn romance that tugs at your heartstrings, this book is for you. It’s perfect for curling up with hot cocoa on a chilly evening.

Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟½ (4.5/5)
Narration Rating: 🎙️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (5/5)
Spice Rating: 🌶️🌶️ (2/5 – Some steamy tension but nothing over-the-top)

Summary
Moonshine plunges us into the gritty, shadowy world of Detective Samantha Nightshade, a newly turned vampire balancing crime-solving with supernatural politics. When a string of bizarre murders leaves both human and supernatural communities on edge, Sam faces her most dangerous case yet. Between werewolf allies, vampire court intrigue, and her human partner who’s oblivious to her vampiric nature, Sam must crack the case before chaos reigns.
This urban fantasy gem delivers equal parts humour, suspense, and heart with a protagonist who’s unapologetically sarcastic but deeply relatable. Cheri Myst masterfully blends supernatural elements with a classic detective noir vibe, creating a story you won't want to pause.

Review:
Right from the start, Moonshine hooked me with its noir-esque atmosphere and Sam’s snarky internal monologue. The world-building is rich but not overwhelming, and the mix of supernatural and detective elements hits just right. Sam is the type of heroine you root for: imperfect, funny, and endlessly resourceful.

There’s a scene that I really enjoyed, where Sam has to attend a vampire court hearing, and it’s full of tension, biting humour, and political maneuvering.

Ash Aarrestad was great with her narration! Her narration captures Sam's biting sarcasm and vulnerability while giving distinct voices to the rest of the cast.

Would I Recommend It?
Absolutely! Whether you’re a fan of urban fantasy, detective stories, or just love a strong female lead who’s as sarcastic as she is skilled, Moonshine delivers. It's a great follow-up to Bloodstone, but you can totally jump in with this one without missing a beat.

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5 )
Narration: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5 )
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (4/5 – The tension builds, and when it pays off, it’s intense and steamy.)

Summary:
Ana is sold into an arranged marriage to Dimitri, a Bratva leader, to save her family from ruin. She’s headstrong and refuses to be a pawn in this game, but Dimitri doesn’t make things easy for her. Their relationship is a mix of fiery arguments, intense attraction, and unexpected tenderness as they navigate betrayal, danger, and their growing feelings. Just when you think things might settle, a twist sends Ana on the run—with a secret Dimitri has no idea about.

Review:
I enjoyed this book. Ana is bold, fiery, and doesn’t back down—even when she’s thrown into a dangerous and brutal world where her father’s betrayal forces her into marriage with Dimitri, a brooding Bratva king. Dimitri? Oh, he’s the definition of a walking sin in a suit. Their chemistry is electric from the start, and the tension between them is both agonizing and delicious.
But fair warning—the blurb is a little misleading. While it promises high-stakes danger (which we get), the plot is more focused on the emotional push and pull between Ana and Dimitri. If you’re expecting a fast-paced mafia action-thriller, this is more of a slow-burn romance with lots of angst and drama.
Adrienne Fleming does a fantastic job as the narrator. I prefer dual narration as I didn’t enjoy her performance as Dimitri, but she was still great.

This book gave me all the feels. The slow-burn tension between Ana and Dimitri is beautifully done, and the way they grow to trust and care for each other is both frustrating and satisfying to watch unfold. The side characters, especially Ana’s siblings, add depth and humour, and the mix of drama, action, and romance kept me engaged the whole time.

Would I Recommend It?
Definitely! If you’re into mafia romances with strong, stubborn heroines and alpha male heroes with hidden vulnerabilities, this is your jam. But if you’re looking for non-stop action, you might want to adjust your expectations—this story is more about the emotional journey.

The opening of Dingo throws you straight into the dark, gritty world of the Devil's Fury MC. Meiling’s backstory is heart-wrenching, and you’re immediately rooting for her to find safety and love. Dingo is the ultimate protector—fierce, loyal, and willing to burn the world down for the woman he loves.

Umi Markkanen’s narration pulled me in from the start. Her voice added depth to the characters, making the story even more gripping. Umi Markkanen did an incredible job.

Dingo is not your typical romance. It’s raw, emotional, and unapologetically intense. Harley Wylde tackles heavy topics while delivering a story of love and healing. It’s not an easy listen, but it’s worth it if you’re prepared for the emotional rollercoaster.

Would I Recommend This Book?
Absolutely—with some caveats. If you’re a fan of dark romance with heavy themes and don’t mind some intense subject matter, this book will have you hooked. It’s an insta-love story that’s raw, emotional, and filled with steam. However, check the content warnings, this isn’t a light or easy listen.

Overall 🌟🌟🌟🌟½ (4.5/5)

🔥🔥🔥🔥 (4/5 Spices) - This one tones down the steamy scenes just slightly in favor of the emotional payoff, but it’s still plenty spicy. Perfect balance!

Oh, man, this one hit differently—it’s dramatic, emotional, and ties up so many loose ends! If you’ve been following Divina, Aric, and Rori’s journey, this book delivers on the action, heartbreak, and tension. That said, I’d definitely recommend listening to the trilogy in order for maximum impact.

Chelsea K. Vance absolutely nails it again. Her ability to bring these complex characters to life is phenomenal. She captures Rori’s brooding nature, Divina’s strength, and Aric’s fierce passion with ease. Her pacing keeps the action engaging, and her emotional delivery hits all the right notes.

The Vampire of the Prophecy is a stellar conclusion to a series that’s equal parts heart-pounding action and heart-wrenching romance. Victoria Jayne wraps up the trilogy in a way that feels fitting, even if it’s bittersweet. Rori, Divina, and Aric’s journeys are beautifully messy, and I loved every second of it.

Would I Recommend It?
Yes! If you’ve made it through the first two books, this finale is a must. And if you haven’t started the trilogy yet, go back and dive in—it’s worth it.

I’m sad to say goodbye to these characters, but this trilogy left me completely satisfied. Highly recommend for paranormal romance fans!

Brick dives headfirst into the grit, heat, and raw emotion you expect from a good MC romance. If you’ve been following the Iron Tzars series, this book delivers everything we love: intense passion, dark backstories, and an unshakable connection between the leads. Serelda and Brick’s story hits hard emotionally, and I found myself rooting for them from the beginning. It’s a ride—sometimes rough, sometimes tender—but always captivating.

Hands down, my fav moment was when Serelda tases Brick, pure gold. It’s funny, unexpected, and so perfectly encapsulates the tension and spark between them. Plus, Brick’s reaction (turning a potentially awkward moment into something that deepens their connection) was both hilarious and endearing.

Umi Markkanen absolutely shines in this performance. Umi’s narration added so much depth to the story, making it even more immersive.

Would I Recommend It?
If you’re into MC romances that don’t shy away from dark themes but still give you a HEA, this one’s a must. Just be sure you’re ready for the intensity—this book doesn’t hold back.
