Historia
Our ability to prevent and reverse these conditions—and feel incredible today—is under our control and simpler than we think. The key is our metabolic function—the most important and least understood factor in our overall health. As Dr. Casey Means explains in this book, nearly every health problem we face can be explained by how well the cells in our body create and use energy. To live free from frustrating symptoms and life-threatening disease, we need our cells to be optimally powered so that they can create “good energy,” the essential fuel that impacts every aspect of our wellbeing.

Entertaining and valuable read for entrepreneurs!
Revisado: 08-18-21
I binged this audiobook within a couple of days because it was so entertaining and educational. What a creative way to incorporate your childhood stories with your business learnings, Barbara!
I found the story behind the Corcoran Report especially enlightening and the 88 apartment 1-day sale extremely impressive.
Thanks for sharing your mother's wisdom and your own – you're a true inspiration!

Mark sold powdered milk and I drank it...
Revisado: 08-07-21
Mark doesn't sugarcoat what it takes to succeed in business in this book, but he also claims it's possible for anyone willing to put in the effort to figure it out.
I chose this quick read to tap into one of the most brilliant business minds around and hear firsthand about his experiences since the start.
Hearing Mark spends 3+ hours per day reading books is inspiring - taking a few to read this book is worth your time. After all, it only takes one shared idea to redirect the course of your life!
My only complaint? I would have loved to have heard Mark narrate it himself.

Historia
You live in your dream house, but there's no mortgage. No alarm clock, no boss, no bills. No claims on the day's time other than what you choose. It is making more money before breakfast than you made for an entire week at your last job. It is a crazy expensive car parked in your garage, a victorious symbol that your dreams no longer sleep in fantasies, but are awake with reality.

MJ DeMarco should start a radio show...
Revisado: 08-03-21
This is the third title from MJ that I've consumed in less than a month (all via Audible + I bought the physical copies for reference). While there is overlap from The Millionaire Fastlane and Unscripted: The Great Rat-Race Escape, I'd happily invest another ~15 hours into consuming this title again (and likely I will!).
MJ's books have helped me to make major mindset strides and finally put my goals (i.e. Planacy) to paper in order to calculate my own Escape Number – maybe he should start a radio show for the express purpose of folks like me being able to phone in and scream that we've finally escaped the rat race?

Historia
Grab your front-row seat in the story of a lifetime. Witness how one family escapes the rat race - the world's economic religion - and how you can too. By all appearances, Jeff and Samantha Trotman are living the American dream. But behind the white picket fence, they endure an American nightmare. With little time for each other, a pile of debt, and Ferrari taste on a Ford budget, the ruse of affluence is killing them.

Instead of binging Netflix, binge THIS!
Revisado: 07-08-21
I learned about MJ through a podcast episode on Empire Flippers where the guest recommended his best-selling title, The Millionaire Fastlane. After binging that title in a week, DeMarco suggested I check out his newest title when I wrote in asking a question. I'm now the proud owner of 3 of his books (Unscripted is next up!) via Audible, plus have the physical copies en route as we speak!
For those that are wondering, there was some overlap between the two titles – don't worry, it's not a lot and I found it to be a helpful review. What I especially enjoyed about this title, however, was the fictional story element – it's the first I've read of its kind. Following the Trotman's entrepreneurial journey was wildly entertaining and helped cement the concepts. Instead of binging Netflix, binge this title this week!

Historia
Since you were old enough to hold a job, you've been hoodwinked to believe that wealth can be created by blindly trusting in the uncontrollable and unpredictable markets: the housing market, the stock market, and the job market. I call this soul-sucking, dream-stealing dogma "The Slowlane" - an impotent financial gamble that dubiously promises wealth in a wheelchair. For those who don't want a lifetime subscription to "settle-for-less", there is an alternative.

More than worth your time!
Revisado: 07-03-21
Just finished this and plan on picking up the physical copy next, so I can restart from the beginning and challenge myself to execute on MJ's advice. While he might come off a bit "confident," the content is spot on based on my own experiences building a 7-figure online business over the last 7+ years. I've talked at least a half dozen of my entrepreneurial friends into coming on this book's journey with me and can't wait to watch us all level up as a result!
