Historia
Marcus’s movie, Toothpick vs. the Doom, is a HIT! But the only thing harder than making a movie is making a SECOND one. Marcus needs to come up with another great idea fast. Too bad his film crew (aka friends) are too preoccupied with their MeTube channels to notice. An invite to The Helen Show has Marcus thinking they’ll be back on top, but will nerves, unchecked ambition, and a rivalry between friends shut down this show before it even begins?

Historia
On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn’t doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams about the slope and shape of his wife’s head, but passages from Amy's diary reveal the alpha-girl perfectionist could have put anyone dangerously on edge.

Excellent Thriller - Super Vulgar
Revisado: 07-29-14
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
It was a great story - so it was time well spent.
Would you recommend Gone Girl to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes, but only to those who are not easily offended by hundreds of F words, C words, and other profanity.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Julia Whelan and Kirby Heyborne ?
Yes. Though their narration was awkward at first (especially when they impersonate another voice) it does grow on you making it less uncomfortable.
Was Gone Girl worth the listening time?
Yes.
Any additional comments?
You think you have the story figured out - but you don't. Not even close. There are so many twists and turns that have you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Then it ends - and the ending sucks.

Talk about God Complex
Revisado: 04-29-14
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I wasn't so into the "Jesus" aspect of this book. Being a Christian, it seemed weird, but I loved the overall story. Especially the way she wrapped it all up.
Has Change of Heart turned you off from other books in this genre?
yes and no. Jodi Picoult books are never predictable but this was even stranger.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
Yes.
Any additional comments?
Great story!

Good Story - Too Many F-words
Revisado: 04-29-14
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
There were too many F-words. Less vulgarity would have made this a lot better.
Has The Cuckoo's Calling turned you off from other books in this genre?
no.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
yes.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
disappointment in the use of so many, un needed F-words.
Any additional comments?
The story is great, the characters and plot are fantastic but seriously - the amount of F-words is ridiculous. Most weren't necessary and didn't impact the story or dialogue in a way that if they were gone the same emotions wouldn't have been felt.
Only read/listen if you are okay with hearing the F-word 300+ times.
