Great performance, but where are the chapter title
Revisado: 12-09-22
There is nothing wrong with the performance or sound quality, but with a work this long it really needs the chapter titles entered. They do exist, but for some reason Audible has never chosen to insert them.

The Book I've Been Waiting For
Revisado: 12-30-17
This book was a surprising find. I picked it up on a whim and I have not been disappointed. The book is long, but not drawn out. It has the depth of characterization that truly makes each character feel unique and alive. It contains an enticing blend of 'historical' fiction and fantasy elements into it, and the author shows considerable knowledge (or at least research) in each subject that the main characters are tasked with mastering. It has romance and humor, adventure and intrigue, and is enjoyable whether you are young or old. This book I would say is borderline perfect and has satisfied an itch for this level of intelligent but readable fiction that I've desired for a long time. But that's just the book.
The narrator is superb. He brings this book to life in a way that I did not think possible. His performance is never dry or boring. He alters his tone, accent and style to such a degree that makes each of the numerous characters unique but not to the degree of absurdity. There is no character or time in the book that I have found where I wish he would have gone back to the recording booth to redo a segment. It makes this lengthy book, nearly 2 full days in length, captivating from beginning to end.
This is a book that only comes around once every ten years or so. It was, both in writing and narrating, a labor of love and it shows. These are craftsman at their best.

Revisado: 11-14-17
Charles Spurgeon was a man among men, and his words which come from truths of scripture are no less true now than they were now. A must listen for anyone.

Fantastic Biblical Novel!
Revisado: 11-12-17
Graham's work is amazing as always and his work has matured since his first book. His take on the biblical narrative is as faithful as can be, as well as refreshingly realistic to the terrors of the ancient world. Truly God is a mighty God for uncivilized times as well.
