I just finished Relentless Courage: Winning The Battle Against Frontline Trauma on Audible and all I can say is WOW!. Michael Sugrue and Doc Springer did an amazing job. This book is an absolute eye opener. Sgt. Michael Sugrue - Ret. opens up about his battle with PTS not just the trauma that he experienced while on duty but the institutional trauma that he experienced while seeking help to get his mind right. I highly recommend the book to all of my first responder friends and veteran friends who have experienced trauma.

Great insight and perspective from a law enforcement officer who has worn many hats while serving his community and country. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a firsthand look into today’s law enforcement.

As a retired Marine myself I am proud to know that people like GySgt Bussler exist. A duty that no one wants to do but is necessary during the time of war or conflict. The attention to detail and pride that this MA team took to ensure the families of the fallen would have their loved one home is beyond measure. I am proud to call Chris my friend and am glad that people like him cared for the fallen Marines of 3/8 in 2005 Fallujah, Iraq and 2006 Ramadi, Iraq. Thank you Chris for having the strength and courage to share this with the World.

This should be required reading before someone separates from the military. As the Commandant of the Marine Corps has his Required Reading List TR should have one with this book being #1 on the list.

Amazing book. After Extreme Ownership and Dichotomy of Leadership I was looking for another book by Jocko and this one popped up. This further emphasized that the lesson learned while serving in the Marine Corps can be applied to my normal day to day life.

As a wounded veteran who was medically retired this book opened my eyes to what I “get” to do on a daily basis. From pain and suffering to resilience and strength. Thank you to Congressman (LCDR) Dan Crenshaw for having the strength to put himself out there so other may learn.

I lost a few friends/bothers/mentors/men I trained in the Battle of Ramadi.

I never thought of using the lessons learned in combat and applying them to not only professional life but also my personal life. Great book. This should be required for all leaders.
