so depresing!

I'm sorry to write this review; I had high expectation for this book but was dissapointed. I get that addiction is a terrible thing but he had so much good in his life and he just could not see any of it. I really had to push myself to finish the book I felt so depressed after hearing it. It seem like all I heard was rehab and back to drinking and drugs, over and over again.

El libro es muy malo. realmente esperaba mas pero entre mas entraba en l histora mas malo se ponia. Me perdi varias veces entre el ir y venir de los tiempos. Nada creible. la escritora tiene datos erronios. como al final " una vive en California y la otra en San Francisco" espero y se que se refiere a otra cuidad y no ala que esta en California. realmente lo termine esperando un final bueno pero nada que ver.

I loved it. I've heard it 3 times and I would hear it again. The story is so good nice to hear one based here in the USA. Love the desceiption of the Texas towns and its landscapes. Julia Whelan did an outstanding preformance on this book.
