Awesome Podcast
Revisado: 08-12-22
I am a big fan of Matt and Tiny's Tower Junkies and learned of this podcast from Kim's guest spots on that.I love the way she breaks down these books and gives her her very intelligent insight when discussing them.It really gives a each book, which most I've read or listened to multiple times,a fresh new perspective that I really enjoy,I really love the discussions she has with Matt and Tiny and hope that becomes a regular occurrence,I love to see the excitement these books bring to them as they have me for many years. Its also great to see Kim,a fairly new Stephen King reader, discovering these treasures one by one.Cant wait for you to finish Dark Tower series!!!Thanks so much for what you do.

Awesome Podcast with very insightful views
Revisado: 08-25-21
I just recently came across this podcast and being a huge Stephen King Fan and even bigger Dark Tower Fan I had to check it out but really without out alot of expectations, gladly I was just floored by this, first just to know there are other people that appreciate the series along with his other work,or most of it,as much as I do is really gradifying because I talk to people so much about the series with hope that they will read/listen to it and see it for what I do,most people just don't for some reason,I think in time it will be looked back on as we look back on Shakespeare,Poe, and others,I really don't know why someone has not made a Quality series on HBO,Netflix, etc.Or into Series of in-depth movies, although I believe a good multi part series would be best, anyways thank you so much guys for this podcast, look forward to catching up and listening to future podcast

Good book even though not Stephen King's best work
Revisado: 06-02-20
Good book although not Stephen King's best work ,had read alot of negitive reviews before purchasing it and actually thought it was a good story and great performance, although a little slow, but my favorites by King have always been the ones that get away from the gore and supernatural,(although I love those too)like Shawshank Redemption,Stand by Me(The Body),Hearts in Atlantis.I am glad I gave it a try and would recommend to a true King fan.

One of the best true crime books I've read
Revisado: 01-03-20
Read Billy Jenson's "Chase Darkness with Me" and had to read this one after and was not disappointed.Beautifully written and perfomed and makes you realize how much we all lost in her passing.

Historia
They were best friends, four talented and charismatic young men who lived charmed lives among the evergreens of Washington state: Kevin, the artist; Steve, the sculptor; Scott, the nature lover and unabashed ladies' man; and Mark, the musician and poet. With their stunning good looks, whip-sharp minds, athletic bodies - and no lack of women who adored them - none of them seemed slated for disaster. But few knew the reality behind the leafy screen that surrounded Seven Cedars, Scott's woodland dream home....

Historia
In the middle of the night, in a house on a quiet street in suburban Minneapolis, intruders silently murder Luke Ellis' parents and load him into a black SUV. The operation takes less than two minutes. Luke will wake up at The Institute, in a room that looks just like his own, except there's no window. And outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids with special talents - telekinesis and telepathy - who got to this place the same way Luke did: Kalisha, Nick, George, Iris, and 10-year-old Avery Dixon.
