How brave of her to share her story. To let other people realize that even Sheryl Crow feels little and melancholy. To share a story of sexual harassment and speaking up. I usually listen to audible to help me sleep but I’m now wide awake sharing this feeling compelled to review. (I rarely review.)
To Sheryl, thank you. I’m sorry you lost you hope in humanity for a moment. I’ve felt that as a nurse lately. But I know there is good out there and it feels like your sharing means you believe it too.

I love this book. The description is so beautiful and does not feel at all contrived. The reader is a beautiful speaker as well. I felt like I was there with Emmy and Julia and I feel like I miss them already now that I’m done reading. I will read this again.

It’s amazing how you think it’s your fault and you assume no one else feels that way. Thank you for sharing your story. It was so brave and I feel like a can become a better person for having experienced it. I do not even think I have fully processed it yet but I have just begun my journey of separation. I am so sorry for what you experienced in your childhood. I do hope you have found and will continue to find peace. I am very thankful you have found your voice and it is beautiful.
