Historia
Graham and Annie have been married for nearly thirty years. Their seemingly effortless devotion has long been the envy of their circle of friends and acquaintances. By all appearances, they are a golden couple. When Graham suddenly dies—this man whose enormous presence has seemed to dominate their lives together—Annie is lost. What is the point of going on, she wonders, without him? Then, while she is still mourning Graham intensely, she discovers a ruinous secret, one that will spiral her into darkness and force her to question whether she ever truly knew the man who loved her.

Absolutely to unbelievable
Revisado: 11-30-20
There were too many twists and they were obvious as the story went on. Not worth the credit. (I rarely write negative reviews but this one deserved it...)

Agatha is pregnant and works part time stocking shelves at a grocery store in a ritzy London suburb, counting down the days until her baby is due. Really Good

It definitely held my interest but at times I was totally creeped out. Worth a credit for sure. I don't want to say anything about the story other than a lot of twists and turns. Pay attention to the details...

Not Her Best
Revisado: 07-04-17
Is there anything you would change about this book?
It was easy to guess what was going to happen early on. There are many other psychological thrillers out there. Stick to the chick lit that you do so well.
If you’ve listened to books by Karen White before, how does this one compare?
Not as good (IMO). I was a big fan but this one is not up to the others.
What about the narrators’s performance did you like?
The characters were well done - good narration.
Did The Night the Lights Went Out inspire you to do anything?
No.
Any additional comments?
As a cyclist who lives near "Sweet Apple" (which I am guessing is actually Crab Apple), I was a bit offended by the numerous rants agains cyclists. I thought at some point, that would have some relevance to the story but it did not. What was the point about bashing cyclists?

Historia
She used to work for the US government, but very few people ever knew that. An expert in her field, she was one of the darkest secrets of an agency so clandestine it doesn't even have a name. And when they decided she was a liability, they came for her without warning. Now she rarely stays in the same place or uses the same name for long. They've killed the only other person she trusted, but something she knows still poses a threat. They want her dead, and soon.

Cannot Follow
Revisado: 06-16-17
What would have made The Chemist better?
Not sure - I have tried to listen 3 times and cannot get into the story
Has The Chemist turned you off from other books in this genre?
Too many moving parts before you can engage
Would you be willing to try another one of Ellen Archer’s performances?
yes
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
No
Any additional comments?
I don't like to post negative reviews but I am a loyal audible customer and decided to share.

Historia
Lacey Terwilliger's shock and humiliation over her husband's philandering prompt her to add some bonus material to Mike's company newsletter: stunning Technicolor descriptions of the special brand of "administrative support" his receptionist gives him. The detailed mass e-mail to Mike's family, friends, and clients blows up in her face, and before one can say "instant urban legend", Lacey has become the pariah of her small Kentucky town and a media punch line....

What three words best describe Amanda Ronconi’s voice?
Annoying - did not like her
Was And One Last Thing... worth the listening time?
not really

Great Family Story

Not one part in particular - just how the threads/families came together.
Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?
If i have to pick, Georgia
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No - too long but I did listen as much as I could.

Among the best. I liked the story and the narration. Lots of surprises as you listened but it all made sense.
What was one of the most memorable moments of I Let You Go?
Don't want to include spoilers.

Good Read - Chick Lit
Revisado: 02-14-17
Would you listen to If You Only Knew again? Why?
No because I never listen twice. The narration was good (other than the child parts - they were not as good as the adult parts.
What did you like best about this story?
A realistic story on many levels. This could be the story of anyone you know (or think you know). Timely.
Which scene was your favorite?
Hard to say - the ending is good and so was the big reveal about Leo.

Not as good as the Hype
Revisado: 12-03-16
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The Narrator - I get that the book is from a male perspective but he was not easy to listen to.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Overall - just too silly of a premise. Too many 'coincidences' to be real.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
Just go with a different one altogether
Do you think When I'm Gone needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
NO
