Historia
Gossip columnists love a bold-faced name - but "Miss Newsy" at Greyborne Harbor's local paper seems to specialize in bald-faced lies. She's pointed a finger of suspicion at Addie after librarian June Winslow never makes it home from a book club meeting. And when June's found at the bottom of a steep flight of stairs, Addie's not only dealing with a busybody, but a dead body. It's a good thing the guy Addie's dating is the police chief. But both the case and her love life get more complicated when a lanky blonde reporter from Los Angeles shows up.

Can't finish it - heroine is frustrating
Revisado: 10-16-23
Can't finish this. The protagonist is too ignorant for me to pursue with this series. Very disappointed. Oh well. Just not for me.

Historia
A member of a prominent New Jersey family has been found dead on St. Patrick's Day—and Pamela Paterson and her knitting club have a parade of suspects . . . The Listers have been part of Arborville society for generations—though seventy-something Isobel Lister doesn't fit the role of upper-crust heiress. She's always been a colorful character, and her fun-loving spirit is on display at the senior center celebration as she performs some beloved Irish songs. But just minutes later, her body is found backstage.

Returned book
Revisado: 03-20-23
I have listen to all the other books in the series and really enjoyed them as well as the performance of the narrator. However this book was different. I couldn't make it past the beginning of chapter 7. The tone of the narrator had a very different field and all the other books. Then there were some topics thrown in there just were not my preference. Disappointed.

Story is great but production is odd
Revisado: 04-01-20
The actor who has done this series does another great job but the production is odd. Odd pauses at odd times. Odd editing on the production’s part. Still a good story though.

Historia
Summer Abernathy wakes up one morning to find her husband missing, three men in her home intent on finding him, and the life she's been living based on a lie. Which Kyle Abernathy did she marry? The computer programmer she met in line at the bank? Or the one who was apparently using that image as a cover story? The search for her husband - and answers - takes Summer ever deeper into a world of organized crime, where people are used one moment and discarded the next.

Story is great but narrator is not
Revisado: 06-27-19
This is a great story but, Audible, the performance of the narrator is sometimes monotone and almost painful. Her constantly spelling out WITSEC as W-I-T-S-E-C instead of pronouncing like it is done on every tv show, movie, video, etc is very distracting. I would be best if you read this great book in hard copy, paperback or Kindle version rather than listening to the Audible version.
