I love Mel. Personable, real and charming. Very repetitious though. I know thats how you drill lessons, but I found myself frustrated by the amount of repetition. the message is priceless and inspiring though. thanks for all the hard lessons.

I enjoyed hearing his personal story. I related so much with it. There are many times we see successful people but don't know their story. Im not used to him reading to convey his message. he's such a great orator I was a little surprised by the performance but it doesn't take away from who he is or his message.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Ten-Year Turnaround to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print version, I have it as a reference though. I'm able to get through books faster because of the amount of time I spend driving and prefer audio over the print version.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed how relatable the author is. I loved his personal perspective. He told his life and how he did it, and I respected it. Who's to say someone can't devise a plan for a 3 or 5 year turn around? I wasn't looking for a quick get rich scheme. I wanted to know the path Matt took to success and I loved how he formed his life in those ten years and he felt real for me.

What about Stu Gray’s performance did you like?

Stu was remarkable. I felt like Stu was talking directly to me and not reading from a podium. That's the energy I need while driving. I've listened to too many books that put me to sleep because the narrator is dry.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The chapters that were well rounded. When Matt became wealthy he didn't stop teaching, he continued on the path of credit, insurance and taxes. Phenomenal, I never thought about that perspective but thanks to him I know it's something to put in my radar.

Where does Emotional Intelligence 2.0 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best. I'm new to audio books but it's turning out to be a great past time and this is the best book I've enjoyed thus far.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I didn't have a great character. I love the articulation of the emotions and the words used to describe how I fell.

Which character – as performed by Tom Parks – was your favorite?

I didn't have a favorite character.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I wanted to break it down so that I could absorb most if not all of the information.

Any additional comments?

Tom Parks was ok as a narrator. He wasn't horrible but he wasn't great either. I would've preferred the narrator to come across a little more personable as if they were talking to me one on one. Instead I felt the reading was very formal and it felt like a speech from a podium or classroom.

What did you love best about Business Growth Day by Day?

I loved the tips. There were practical and insightful.

What did you like best about this story?

It was a easy read. The language wasn't above my head and the lessons weren't too complex.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The performance was ok. I wish the reader sounded more like he was talking to a person vs. speaking to an audience. I would've preferred less formal and more casual.

My expectations weren't met. There were some interesting and useful information but nothing to get me started. I expected some hand holding and found more information to research. I felt the narrators voice was very dry and rigid. If you want to know what day trading is, the book is great. If you want to get started and think the book will give u step by step advice, look elsewhere.
