This is a short and steamy story about a trio of ladies who go out to a club for some fun, and one of them picks up a fellow. There's dancing and flirting, banter and bedroom eyes. Once out of the club, the two turn up the heat, and the story ends with some great sex. If you want to read a sweet and lusty tale of two people enjoying each other's company in the best way possible, this is a great listen, either for a long lunch, a boring commute, or as you wind down (or perhaps, wind up!) for the evening. And as always, Eden Cavell does an excellent job narrating this story, from the flirty beginning to the sizzling finale.

A fun, sexy story that delivers as promised

No need for a plot synopsis, so I'll just say that this was a well-written story with a good build-up and nicely escalated sexual encounters until the big payoff. If you're concerned about feeling that COVID content might make you uncomfortable or anxious, it doesn't really come up beyond being the reason the two characters are stuck in an apartment building together. Aside from that, it is nice to see the two slowly flirt and tease, building to increasingly intimate sexual acts. Beyond a bit of neighborly voyeurism, the story is fairly vanilla, which is perfectly fine and I don't think should be a turn-off to anyone, as the storytelling is very solid. All told, a great quick read, perfect for either an extended commute or an evening read.

As for narration, Adara Astin is fantastic as usual, bringing her professional vocal talents to bear on this story. You will not be disappointed.

A delightfully dark and creepy erotic tale

This is a rather dark erotic tale of an immortal witch who throws a party every twenty years on Halloween in order to find a couple of the sacrifices she needs to keep herself young. I actually really like the story and the plot is dark and diabolical, with enough dirty action thrown in to keep it sizzling. Narrator Adara Astin is excellent as ever, bringing all the characters to life with sultry skill. A great Halloween listen!

If you like size kink, this is for you

This is not a book written for my interests, but if you are into size kink, specifically small men and big women, as well as foot kinks, than you are going to enjoy this story. Narrator Adara Astin is fantastic as always, bringing the material to life with her performance. and while it is a kind of spooky story with spells and witches, it'll be enjoyable any time of year.

A great resource for engineers moving on up

Anyone who works in tech, from IT support and infrastructure to system administration, software development, and engineering, knows the problems that you face when you begin to top out at your individual contributor positions and hit the ceiling of the "senior" positions. Being able to transition into a Lead or Staff position brings with it a lot of challenges, and you begin to rely on a different set of professional skills.

Staff Engineer is a guide to help you navigate from being a senior engineer (or the equivalent) into some flavor of Staff Engineer role. Even if you don't work in a software engineering field, anyone who is part of a large tech organization and nearing the top of their non-management career path can benefit from what's found in this book. As someone who moved into a Lead role ten years ago, and a true Manager title six years ago, this book has a lot of helpful wisdom and information that can assist you in not only landing that career move, but making it a lot smoother and less stressful.

The narration by Shaula Evans is solid and well-articulated. Some people might find the audio adaptation from the text - with lots of quotes and footnotes and non-linear text - a little confusing, but clearly the intent was to make sure quotes were properly attributed, and there was likely no perfect method for doing this. I think the narration is fine and doesn't detract from the meat of this book, but I can understand that if someone is not paying attention, it might be distracting. This is definitely a situation where listening to the audiobook and then going out and getting a paper copy of the text is likely a really good idea.

Good if you like this sort of kink

While the premise is completely implausible, the story itself is entertaining. Your classic "slutty student" has the tables turned on her by her professor, both in and out of the classroom. The story is well-written and Adara Astin's narration is as great as ever.

If you aren't into the dynamics of a professor / student fantasy, this might not be for you, but if you like it, as well as exhibitionism and humiliation fantasies, you may well enjoy this story. just don't listen to it out loud in the Faculty lounge, because it might hurt your chances of getting tenure!

A little spice goes a long way

This is a short but very sweet story about a couple whose love life has gone stale after a decade of marriage, until the wife decides to ask her husband to indulge her in a spanking fantasy.

I won't give any spoilers, but I liked this story because it leaned into being a good and willing partner, encouraging communication, and how there's nothing wrong with two people who love each other trying something new in order to keep things exciting.

The story is well written and although it is short, it didn't feel rushed. As always, narrator Adara Astin does an excellent job with the material. You don't have to be into spanking in order to enjoy this story. Highly recommended.

You never know what might attract a person

This is a relatively short but well-written story about a young woman who starts work as an executive assistant to a man that many believe has a predilection for women of a certain type, but as it turns out, he prefers women of a curvier variety. The two main characters actually spend most of the story simply interacting at work and getting to know each other, with different chapters moving from one character's POV to the other. This allows us to see the relationship develop from both angles, and I liked how their relationship progressed in a way that felt much more natural than in a lot of other short-form erotica. The "climax" to the story was also well-done, and again, happened in a much more realistic way. If you like workplace romance erotica featuring curvy ladies, this is worth your time, and suitable to a long lunch break or medium-length commute.

A story setting worth developing in further tales

This is a story with lots of interesting components, especially since it touches on M/F and M/M sexual acts. I think the most interesting part of it is the world of the social club and the hierarchy and roles of the patrons and employees, as well as the design of the place itself. The world-building is good enough to support many more stories set here, and I hope the author takes advantage of that. The writing is well-done and the audio narration by Adara Astin is, as always, fantastic. Highly recommended.

Narrated by the always-excellent Adara Astin, This is a good listen during a lunch break, a quick commute, or a before-bed erotic nightcap. Enjoy!
