Historia
Aquaponics is the revolutionary science where plants are grown in water instead of soil. This water also cultures fish. The wastes produced by the farmed fish or other aquatic creatures supplies the nutrients for the plants, and in turn purifies the water. Aquaponics, when set up correctly, can, be self-sustaining and, be a healthy source for both fish and plants. Aquaponics at Home is a beginner's guide to this hobby or business, whichever way you want to look at it. You are given the fundamentals to this wonderful and exciting way to garden.

This book is a good overview of the types and setups of different aquaponic systems. I did however feel that it is lacking in that it did not present any new information or tips more than what is gleaned from a shallow knowledge of what aquaponics is. I am a hobby grower and only made two notes, on the information provided, that I had not already retained from my limited sources.

Historia
Project Animal Farm provides a riveting and revealing look at what truly happens behind farm doors, as discovered by a fearless young woman. Sonia Faruqi, a 25-year-old Ivy League graduate and investment banker, had no idea that the night she arrived at the doorstep of an organic dairy farm would mark the beginning of a journey that would ultimately wind all the way around the world. Instead of turning away from the animal cruelty she would come to witness, Sonia made the most courageous decision of her life.

Wonderful Narration! Good book!

This is a good book about how animals are treated in today's agricultural diversity around the world. I felt that the author diverged from this story line at times with personal relationship rhetoric that make her sound judgemental of people that she met personally apart from their husbandry practices. It made her seem arrogant and turned me off to the story in certain sections of the book. The narration was great and was easy to listen too. Overall I thought the story shed light on many different practices of husbandry across the world and was intersting. I would have probably rated the story higher had it not diverged into the story lines mentioned above.
