Hilariously not for the faint of stomach

The reader’s voice is excellent, he has a different voice for each character and is wonderful to listen to. The story itself is incredibly raunchy and a very fun read for those of us who have insight into all of Shakespeare’s dirty little jokes. I will definitely be re-reading this when I’m feeling down

This is just what I've been looking for. Grit is that undefined trait that so many people striving for greater things are trying to master but is often elusive and seems to be waiting on the tip of our tongues. Angela does a great job of explaining what grit is and uses the second half of the book to describe good, practical steps to integrating more grit into our lives as well as providing examples of what others who have a gritty lifestyle are like.

So many great nuggets

I really like the whole book. It is short and concise and I wanted it to keep going, but I got a lot out of it and will definitely be one of those books that I reread every year

Love the story, but the reader didn't capture the feel

Like a lot of other readers, I found Kyle's whining narrative to be at odds with the other narrators of this series. I've never seen Skeeve as a whiner, unsure of himself - sure, but I never felt like he was negative or whined a lot until I was listening to this book. I feel like Kyle did a good job over all, but it just wasn't the MYTH adventure we've all come to know and love.

That said, the story was good, I thought the whole team faced a good challenge and used each of their talents well. Skeeve faced a deeper level of danger than he had previously, I'm not sure if he grew a lot out of it, but I think Jody did a great job of writing another adventure.

Best marriage book series I've read

This book, as well as For Women Only, are the best marriage books I've read. They've really helped both me and my wife understand each other much better. I can't recommend these books enough.

Incredibly profound and potentially life changing

With any self help book, it's going to be up to you to put in the work and make the changes in your life. Psycho-Cybernetics helps you understand what changes will give you the best bang for the time you invest in yourself and how to start thinking in the right way, regardless of all the baggage in your past. Also, many of my friends, upon hearing my reflections from this revised edition say that it was much easier to read and understand than the original version. Please pick this book up to begin changing your life. You will not regret it.

If you are in any sort of leadership position or plan to be, read this book

In the middle of this book I was actually asked to do a presentation and I've decided to alter my original plans to focus on this concept. Hopefully we can create simple workflows at my company. We definitely suffer from guideline bloat. I also love the myriad of examples from personal rules to when complexity actually is a good thing and everything in between.

Good short story

Reader wasn't that bad

Admittedly, he's very different from the first book's reader who, by the end of the book gives you the image that Louis Wu is a 180 year old crotchety guy who's hilariously active. In this book you meet him in a much different state and so I gave the reader a chance and by the end of the book had accepted him for how he performed the characters. I feel like everyone else just took that transition harder than I did. All in all he's a good reader and it's not a painful experience to listen to the book. I recommend it if you like the series
