This takes a bit of getting used to but I really liked it. Each character tells their part of the story. It is a who done it and the answer may surprise you. I also liked that there was an epilogue, with an ending that doesn’t leave you wondering.

What made the experience of listening to FREE: Locke & Key the most enjoyable?

Good performance. With the different narrators you experienced different voices and could get into the story. Mysteries keep you guessing

What did you like best about this story?

To me this was YA so you have to be in that mind set. I know some object to getting YA and feel dissapointed but I like to read/listen to all stories if they're good. This had mystery, drama, love, fantasy.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes have heard many of them before. I think for the most part they portrayed the characters well. Brody (?sp) was the only one I really didn't think fit the bill.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It's long so that's hard to do but I did listen straight thru till the end w/o other stories. I only listen to books and podcasts, no TV.

Any additional comments?

I think overall this was well done, would definitely get another like this. Entertaining and good story for October and Halloween spooky time.

Very enjoyable

A quick listen, a little action, a little drama, good vs. evil with a little live on the side. Narrator did a good job as it I always knew who was speaking. It ends which I appreciate as everything always needs 3 books now a days. But if there was a book 2 I would definitely get it.

Kudos to the narrator, made the story an enjoyable listen. The story was OK but not overly exciting. It does end but leaves it possible for a follow up. I would listen to the next adventure

Wasn't sure I was going to like this. It did start a looker slow, but the longer I listened the morning I got pulled in. Good character development.

Great story

Loved this story. If I had to compare it to something it would be the Wizard of Oz. It has a little of everything including a happy ending. The voices of characters were all well done and suited their character. If you listen to fantasy or sci-fi podcasts then you will recognize most of these experienced readers. This is a light, quick listen. Would definitely get the next one if they produce one. Good job guys!!
