This book had my in the beginning but fell off fast! It doesn’t feel like a story is being told by someone in present time it feels like the main character is telling a story from the past. It’s horribly written. The way the scene took place when Crystal was raped… so she just kept it moving like nothing happened?? I couldn’t finish it!

This book had so much potential but it fell flat for me. The narration was ok but then again i’ve been spoiled by Carrie Height & Nicole Small. This book took me sooooo long to be done… i thought it was just me but it just didn’t GIVE what it should have & it’s a shame bcuz it had so much potential. I havn’t read a lot by this author & honestly if all of their books are like this i don’t plan on it.

I’m so mad at yall! Those of yall that claimed this was a good read must’ve never read a banger & it shows! Whhyyy does 1 of the narrators sound like Siri?! This book was soooo unrealistic, it’s like she tried to make Glockman the man that she over did it!! It was just sloppy & childish to me & that’s disappointing bcuz the actual storyline had so much potential! Maybe it’s just me but I’m used of reading books by Endiya Carter, Miss J, Ashley & Jaquavis Coleman & they would never!!!!

OMG this book was everything I needed! I’m so invested in these characters. Honestly u had me at HELLO! ATP I’ve listened to 1 book a day & can’t get enough!!! I havn’t been this invested in a book since the Ethic & Butterfly series! Please don’t STOP writing their story! Now can we talk abt The narrators bcuz they were perfect! The way they had me clutching my imaginary pearls is crazy!!! I read a hustles daughter 1st then went & downloaded this series & now I’m looking for all her books cuz girl!!! lol. When I tell u I am on this rollercoaster ride & don’t wanna get off!!! Yes! I know it’s the beginning of the year but so far this is in my top 5 series for the new year!!
