Great science-fiction with romance

This book starts out with Volunteer 4711 being taken from her life on earth and then deals with how she copes in the new alien civilization. From time to time this is really struggle and she is truly an alien, but through hard work and grit she manages to slowly conquer language and respect. Then the story develops further and she slowly also develops a relationship with her Commander, a character with a complex past. Apart from the nice romance and space adventure itself the story also challenged me on more complex issues like; how far would you go to fit in? what is a name really? is love just love or are there always also ulterior motives? Narration is excellent and I can highly recommend the book!

Great science-fiction with a Romance

I listened to this book from start to finish as it really held my interest. The world building and depth of character is much more elaborate than what one would normally expect from this type of book, Both the hero and the heroine have their faults and make their mistakes but it makes the book so much more interesting and even the steamy scenes had some unusual twists. I knew it was a HEA but despite this it managed to surprise me and I can highly recommend it to anybody looking for a bit more than the usual formula. Narration is also very good.

Short and sweet

This is a wonderful little story about about Leah standing up for herself and not accepting the future other people have planned for her. Given that it is just over an hour it does feel a bit rushed at times but then I do like when a story is fast paced and do not linger unnecessarily.

First cyborg story for me

I did not quite know what to expect as I had not listened or read any cyborg stories before. However the story is well written with both decent world building, a plot and of course a lot of steamy sex as could be expected from a reverse harem romance. I struggled a little bit with how quickly Megan overcame her horrible recent experiences and jumped into the relationship with the three cyborgs.

Great horror story

This is a classic horror story taking place at the old asylum where six friends goes in search of ghosts. The fun quickly turns to a nightmare as an old patient is still lurking in the place. The format of 3 hours is just perfect for this story and it kept my interest all through and I went through the whole book in one go. Only downside is the slight overuse of the word sh*t that becomes a bit repetitive but all in all I would definitely recommend this well narrated book.

Lots of sex

I liked this story, very sexy and with a proper plot. I had not read the blurb properly so it did come as a bit of a surprise when the hot cop turned out to be a sub and the "victim" took on a more dominant role. I did like being surprised (as it is fairly rare in the romance genre) but if you are not into this you might want to stay clear of this book. Apart from the sex there is also a good plot development with quite a few obstacles to overcome for Sam and Trevor. Great narration by Hollie Jackson.

More cute than naughty

When seeing the title I expected something a bit naughty and out of the ordinary. Instead it is a very cute story of lovers finally getting each other and overcoming the resistance from their families. The narration is good and the story fits neatly together.

Great adventure

A group of friends set out for an adventure that then turns real and they find themselves entangled in a battle between good and evil. I liked the interesting and unusual set-up of the story and it is moving forward at a nice pace with a decent amount of character development as well. It is then a classic adventure with your typical set of fantasy personalities, wizards, fairies, trolls etc that is well described and holds the interest throughout. I like that there is both a romantic story line as well as an overall quest. Overall this is well worth spending an afternoon listening to if you just want to relax and be taken away to a different realm

Not exactly romance but fun and different!

Strong willed Gia do not listen to her friends and hook up with an Agnorian. To say that she is in over her head is an understatement but it develops in an unusual and fascinating way. What would dating aliens really be like? Maybe it is not just their color that would be different? This book is for truly open minded people or real science fiction fans that want the dating angle. I really liked the fast moving pace and the humor of the book as well as the great world building. Heads-up for British narrator who is great but takes a while to get into.

An unsettling story

This book is rather unsettling contains graphical descriptions of difficult themes. It can be difficult to listen at certain times but the story told about how hard and cruel the world can be to teenagers is important. The lead character Katie is sympathetic and I truly felt back for all the bad things happening to her. My only slight reservation and I why I only gave it four stars for story was that I felt it was extended a bit to far and could have benefited from slightly less misery description and instead have developed the ending a bit more.
