Amazing Story

I absolutely loved this story line. I have laughed, cried, and experienced anger and sadness for all the shifters in Herta. The narrator was fantastic as well. I cannot pick a favorite character because I loved them all. Ruby's love and mothering. Ansel's stoicism and protectiveness. Kain's personality and ability to laugh through a crisis. Valentina's strength and fighting ability. Milla's terseness. John Alec's move to Earth to be with the woman he loves even though it meant leaving his sister behind. Matt's way of forgetting everything and focusing on his work. Inka's flightiness and the way she was always herself. Griff broke my heart. He was so sad and brokenhearted over not being able to save his woman and suffering for 8 years. And Elaina. She suffered too not really knowing if people cared about her for herself or because of her gift.

I loved the way the story continued so seamlessly through each book. You were never lost or trying to catch up. your could read each book as a stand alone but they are so much better as a whole.
