It was not bad
Revisado: 03-02-25
However changing the narrator after two successful books is crazy to me. I missed a lot of the story because pronunciations changed, voice changed, not able to really fully immerse myself into the story. With that being said, I still did however like the book just so many characters forgotten.

Revisado: 01-21-25
That this isn’t the last!! So very pleased with this story, the narrators and the author. Brandon is among the best and deserves all the flowers I still give it five stars although I didn’t care for the “wokensss” however I can see how it fit the story itself

ai love a MGM story
Revisado: 12-02-24
I became a fan altering listening to Mordecai books and it gre from there. a large part of it was the narrator (after all it is an audiobook) this story hear was good. the plot was a little off for me trying to connect dots but I trust in MGM. The narrating however was a huge miss for me. He didn't draw me into the story at all.

Historia
Ian and Vic are brothers. Their lives are simple, and while they might long for excitement, happiness can be found in a hard day's work, a sunny day, or the smile from a pretty girl. Their lives are turned on end when their village is attacked and they are taken as slaves, destined to labor under the watchful eye of their captors. The strife that had long dominated much of the world had found them. Things would never be the same.

Decent
Revisado: 07-17-24
It was decent enough for me to finish the story and kept me interested enough to understand what was going on. The MC of the story had a little bit of an arc where you can see the growth in him beginning to take on a more leadership as he’s being pushed to the forefront of the story , but that was about it. I don’t believe that I will move onto the next book in the series, but it was at least decent enough to listen to.

Difficult
Revisado: 06-01-24
So far I’m on chapter 34 and that’s for I found a very difficult to fully graphs what’s happening in the book and with the main character find that she is conflicted when it comes down to love interest and there is very little character arc this not being able to realize the resolution that the character is going to have to come to

Historia
A year after saving the powers of Olympus by defeating Nyx, the Goddess of Darkness, Daphne is haunted by still-looming threats, her complicated feelings for the god Apollo, and the promise she made to the Olympian gods that she would help them again when they called upon her. When their command finally comes, it is deceptively simple: secure herself a spot as one of Queen Helen’s guards. A war is coming, and all of Sparta must be prepared.

Ehhhh
Revisado: 04-28-24
I’ve listened to the first book and found it interesting to say the least. Why I find it interesting is because of the many challenges and adventure.. the story was great to say the least.
This story had an interesting take to say the least as well. Except the MC, Daphne don’t know what she wants, the story arc was weak, and the constant flirting and sexual several other characters is tiring. I’m not sure I’ll read what comes next

Definitely interesting
Revisado: 02-19-24
While I loved the book, I’ve listened to the entire series. I am about 3/4 of the way through Rhythm of War. I somehow cannot bring myself to find the character Shalon very very annoying the way, Brandon Sanderson.
Have written that character. She is very fickle, and thus far could not be trusted. Her angles are very construed what she wants is very annoying or confusing, and seems more like a side character than she is a main character.

Dalinar Kholin's Alethi armies won a fleeting victory at a terrible cost. The enemy Parshendi summoned the violent Everstorm, which now sweeps the world with destruction and in its passing awakens the once peaceful and subservient parshmen to the horror of their millennia-long enslavement by humans. While on a desperate flight to warn his family of the threat, Kaladin Stormblessed must come to grips with the fact that the newly kindled anger of the parshmen may be wholly justified.

Half way through
Revisado: 12-28-23
I am not particularly fond of Shallan she’s annoying, sneaky, boring with her back and forth, her need to save everyone on her own, her character arc is mediocre and so far in this book, I find myself wanting to fast forward through her character.
The love story that slowly unfolds is tedious and can see it coming a mile away. In my opinion didn’t need to happen it just made me dislike shallan even more
