Historia
These 36 lectures tell the remarkable story of a tumultuous thousand-year period in the history of England. Dominated by war, conquest, and the struggle to balance the stability brought by royal power with the rights of the governed, it was a period that put into place the foundation of much of the world we know today. As you journey through this largely chronological narrative you'll see key themes emerge, including the assimilation of successive waves of invaders, the tense relationship between kings and the nobility, and the constant battles over money and taxation.

Misadventure in Scotland

Enjoyable story and excellent narration. the heroine was a bit fussy but also plucky and I enjoyed the traveling and all the problems encountered. the hero was great and had lots of patience. Narrator spoke Scottish dialect very well.

Magical storytelling
Revisado: 05-15-22
This was a very enjoyable book. I enjoyed it all the way through. I'm a big fan of Shanna Swendson and have enjoyed her Magic, Inc. series. This book was similar but different enough. I liked the characters and was surprised at times. The book kept my intetest. The narrator was awesome! I really felt like I was listening to real ppl tell a story. Love her Texas slight accent and her male voices were unbelievable. Recommend this book for readers of light romance, young girls and anyone wanting a getaway.

Teenagers & vampires shouldn't mix
Revisado: 04-10-22
My 1st audio book. I didn't know anything about story before but I was pulled in by the narrator. She was excellent. I loved how she did the different characters' voices. She was so easy to listen to.. The story, was at first intriguing, but the plot went off in strange direction. Some sections described mundane actions that I found boring and important off-stage happenings weren't explained. Some expressions (cocked a brow) were repeated too much. Ending was strange.

Fun romp through regency
Revisado: 04-10-22
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Typical regency romance, but the story was original and the plot intriguing. Characters were developed and interesting. The danger at the end wasn't foreshadowed, but it was well done and surprising at times. The narration was excellent. The heroine's voice could've been a bit lower pitched snd the duke's deep voice was a bit forced, but I still liked narrator's pronunciation & diction. Nice listen.
