Historia
Inventorying human remains can be difficult at the best of times, without a creepy security guard hovering over Maddie Foster’s shoulder. Nervous about being stuck in the crypt with the strange man, Maddie asks a friend of a friend to drop by and pretend to be her boyfriend to force the guy to back off. Raptor operative Josh Warner recently moved to Oregon to take over as guardian to his troubled niece and open a new private security branch in the Pacific Northwest.

Glad I didn’t waste a credit…
Revisado: 05-14-23
Story lacked logical cohesion, characters poorly developed. The ‘preachiness’ critique offered by several other reviewers I found less offensive… it was the reliance on the predictable, one dimensional outcomes that brought on the yawn.

Strong story line, Quickly captures interest.
Revisado: 03-31-22
From my perspective, the plot and character developments are the foundational 'nuts and bolts of any book, and
I thought T.J. Brearton did an excellent job with 'Into Darkness.' The author accomplished what all books of this genre are supposed to offer their readers- entertainment, and this book more than satisfies that ambition. It held my interest, and I will enjoy discovering more books by this author.

Smart! Great Characterizations! Excellent Narration
Revisado: 03-31-21
This is a superlative series, and I have made the delicious discovery of a new author I look forward to reading and following in the future. Thomas Prescott is smart, sarcastic, frequently
profane, emotional, sensitive, outrageous , engaging, sophomoric and FUN:)

Plot and Characters Lacking Substance
Revisado: 03-09-21
Vacuous characters- especially the main charcter, Harry Starke.Think the author tried too hard to make Harry the 'cool curmudgeon'. After repetitive eyerolling (mine), I decided I could take no more. Recently listened to the David Wolf series and enjoyed it. Was excited to find another Box Set that I anticipated would be of the same caliber, unfortunately that was not my experience.

Interesting characters, good storyline
Revisado: 10-09-20
I enjoyed this book! Characters are slightly off beat, with engaging plot and development. Main character is not cliche... story fun, with all the right twists and turns, to make me want to read another by this author and explore this main character more.,

Historia
The first time I met Ian Kemp in the sparkling blue waters of St. Thomas, I was six years old, and we shared a summer beneath the stars. The second time I met Ian Kemp, he was a shell of the boy I once knew. Turbulent and infuriating, he refused my friendship at every turn. Like me, he was a casualty of life’s cruelty, but we were planets apart. We’d both sought refuge on the island, hoping to find our anchor. Instead, we found each other and managed to reclaim our stars...until we both got swept away.

Strong character development , sexy but not inane
Revisado: 01-10-19
Especially enjoyed the character development and found the story line had depth, was well structured.... and well written Pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this book. Was it sexy? Absolutely, but not gratuitous or inane... refreshingly... not stupid. Rather the perfect mix of a good story line, appealing, multi- faceted characters, with just the right amount of sizzle’. It was a ‘fun’ read.

Entertaining, but a bit hokey
Revisado: 06-04-15
Not one of her bests... thought the narration sounded contrived, with the southern accents. The plot was predictable, characters made me wince.
