Revisado: 04-03-19
Got to say, I missed the little beercan. Loved the annoying littel guy and the interaction with Joe. If you enjoyed the first few, then you will really love this one...

Victor is the ultimate predator. He surfaces to kill, then disappears into thin air. But he's a disposable commodity for the powerful people he works for - both the good guys and the bad. And no one has his back. Especially now that doing black bag jobs for the CIA has put a target on his head. Antonio Alvarez, a high-ranking US intelligence official, is determined to clean house and find the legendary killer who slipped away from him during an operation in Paris.

Historia
United Nations Special Operations Command sent an elite expeditionary force of soldiers and pilots out on a simple recon mission, and somehow along the way they sparked an alien civil war. Now the not-at-all-merry band of pirates is in desperate trouble, again. Their stolen alien starship is falling apart, thousands of light years from home. The ancient alien AI they nicknamed Skippy is apparently dead, and even if they can by some miracle revive him, he might never be the same.

Embrace the Awesomeness
Revisado: 02-16-18
Where does Zero Hour rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Continuing the Saga. As they say, they stumble from problem to problem. The fun is in how they get there, how they get out, and the meandering conversations along the way. always fun....
What did you like best about this story?
if you likedJoe bishop and Skippy the awesome before, you will love this book.
What about R. C. Bray’s performance did you like?
he is just very, very good.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I actually smiled and laughed out loud at various times. A fun listen
Any additional comments?
Avery easy and fun book to listen to. If you liked the earlier books, or books where the hero's do not waltz thru the book, snarkiness this is for you. A great listen

Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

A fun ride
Revisado: 02-08-17
Where does Columbus Day rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Top 10, but I listen to tons of books
What did you like best about this story?
Just fun to listen to
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes
Any additional comments?
Interesting, it really was like 2 different books. First half was fine, and helped build the backstory. But what really worked for me was the 2nd half. this is not a shoot em up and sort em out book, rather a fun Sci-fi book. If you enjoyed We are Legion (We are Bob) then this is the book for you. It is NOT "the grey man" in outer space. AS long as that is what you were looking for you will be very happy.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Revisado: 09-22-15
I really enjoyed this book. Like a roller coaster it never stopped. Yes it did seem a drop long somewhere in the middle, but I always wanted to hear what would come next.
Just the right tone for a book that could have gone either way.
The narrator was wonderful as well.

After hearing a few other duds it's a pleasure to get back to a fun book. However, I would read the others in the Series first, so you will be familiar with the characters and their quirks.
Very, very enjoyable.
Not tons of slicing and dicing but an enjoyable listen and I look forward to the next in the series.

Does not get much better.
Revisado: 08-04-15
What made the experience of listening to Radiant Angel the most enjoyable?
The narrator was fantastic. Smart ass Corey, as usual, was a delight. DeMille, never fails to deliver. Read them in order if you can, worth the effort to do so.
What about Scott Brick’s performance did you like?
He makes the story come alive,
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Even a dead end job, can lead to death...
Any additional comments?
Corey is a great character, smart ass and tough. I cannot think of a better author for this type of book.
