In a world full of superpowers, Felix had a pretty crappy one. He has the ability to modify any item he owns and to upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper; almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities. At least, that was until Felix leveraged a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to give himself a great deal of points. Investing in, owning, and using Super Heroes and Super Villains, Felix built up an empire: an organization by the name of Legion.

Greatly enjoyed this, but...

The last fifth of the book felt rushed to me. Like, there was a whole bunch of stuff that was skipped or cut out. It's very good, but I did not know I was at the end of the book before it happened. It felt as if there was way more of the story to explore before and it left me feeling wrong-footed.
Also I don't even like harem stories so why did I start this series in the first place? Because the characters are lovely and the healthy relationships make me smile. Kudos for that! This raunchy book filled me up with wholesome vibes. :)

oh my god. that blooper chapter at the end poking fun at other cultivation books was legendary! I think I love this author now.
The rest of the book was fantastic too, but I'm just so flabbergasted from that last chapter! I'm going to go immediately download the next book!

This is the silliest yet, in my opinion, the most comfy series to reread. This new book is more of the same delightful humor and charming character interactions that you would have read up to this point. The action is there too, of course, awesome as always. I just find a lot of comfort in watching Artorian be a sweetheart to everyone.
I highly recommend the entire series!

I like the story well enough, but wtf with the insulting women? acting like women are a bunch of nags or something? PLUS every freaking time a new woman was introduced the author would go into detail about her breasts and ass. is that really necessary to the story? I get if you're trying to make the character seem like a douche bag, but if you do it every time it makes the author a douche bag.
