Historia
They don't know who he really is. They never know where he'll show up. But the citizens of Gotham City know they have a protector. With an arsenal of amazing weaponry and a repertoire of incredible acrobatics, he is the legend they call Batman. In a toxic brew of big-city corruption, a bone-white, green-haired, eternally grinning clown is born. His name is the Joker. Charting the origins of the Dark Knight and early battles between the Caped Crusader and the Clown Prince of Crime, Batman depicts the timeless, violent war between criminal and crimefighter, Batman vs. the Joker.

I struggled so hard to listen to this narrator. The pacing was so weird and kept drawing me out of the story. see the movie instead.

Wow, this was Hilarious
Revisado: 07-29-19
I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. I have gotten other books that were tied to TV shows, but none of them seemed as authentic to the world that was created as this one. Hearing Selina sound just as annoyed, and narcissistic in the TV show was delightful. I also did not expect to hear Gary in this as well. His footnotes were equally funny. I loved this performance. This is by far the best narration I have seen on Audible.

Historia
On November 1, 2006, Alexander Litvinenko sipped tea in London's Millennium Hotel. Hours later, the Russian former intelligence officer, who was sharply critical of Russian president Vladimir Putin, fell ill, and within days was rushed to the hospital. Fatally poisoned by a rare radioactive isotope slipped into his drink, Litvinenko issued a dramatic deathbed statement accusing Vladimir Putin himself of engineering his murder.

Polonium 210
Revisado: 03-07-17
I did enjoy the story, but the narrative seemed to all over the place. The instance of Litvinenko's death is foreshadowed more than a dozen times. This made the book seem really repetitive. Also the narrator's instance of calling Polonium 210 "two, one , oh" really got annoying. I have never heard it called that.

So many cliches
Revisado: 02-03-16
This wasn't the greatest book in the world. The accents by the narrator made all the foreign characters sound the same. The action provided no real peril. The characters always find exactly what they need to get through whatever situation they were in. I am glad I am finished with this book so I don't have to hear it again.
