I had to check several times to see if AI was reading these books. There is no inflection in the narration. Monotone… like she is reading an owners manual not a fiction novel.

I’m gonna have to agree with other reviewers on this series. It started out with great potential, but the FMC is real annoying and whiny. I thought maybe she would come around and get over herself, but here we are 3 books later and she is awful. There is Zero growth with this character. And because of her awful character there is hardly any spice in these books because she won’t allow it. At this point I may DNF the series.

FMC is whiny and annoying and loves to live in her victim hood. MMCis not really likable. The best character in this book is Lucy the dog. Wish I wouldn’t have paid full price for this.
