Would you consider the audio edition of The Bat to be better than the print version?
Sorry to say i have not read the book. However, being quite busy, the audible version is my favorite anyway - in the car, on the train, the airport, even when biking:)
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Bat?
I really enjoy this book, it is so many things happening, so exciting, and i learned quite a few things about the aborigines and their history, nicely implemented in the story.
Harry approaching the redhead swedish girl in the bar and the encounter with Otto the transexual gives us an idea about gender and tolerance.
Have you listened to any of Sean Barrett’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have been listening to Sean Barrett`s voice through many books, and find his work outstanding. He is really good at copying accents, amazing.

A lesson in random lunacy put to work, based on excellent research.You wished this was fiction only.
An exciting wellwritten book keeping your attention all the way through.

An excellent story

and a great narrator. He really does a good job. It is admiring how he manages to keep the characters voices from one another without mixing. Exciting spinoffs, like the "scenes" from the wwar2 in manchuria.
Mr. Wind-up Bird....yes, i will certainly read more from this author.

Gives a good picture on how religion may turn individuals into monsters. Religious belief is a human right, but some people moves past the outer limit of acceptance. A good book telling us not to turn the other cheek, but try to do something to stop these crazy people before they ruin somebodys life.
Childmolesters living in a pedophilia heaven(godgiven right to polygamy and to marry children. Murder committed on direct orders from God. Hey, you dont have to go to the middle-east to see religious fanatics, take a look in your neighbourhood.....
