Someone really needs to work on the vocal volume. the Dialog is so loud it's like being screamed at while the narrative is below a whisper. It made listening not only uncomfortable because of the volume but also annoying having to turn it up-and-down so that I didn't feel like I was being screamed at or so that I could hear the narrative. Other than that however I love the story. Although I'm not sure if I will listen to anymore in the series if its the same vocal level quality.

Again you have ruined the experience of stories that I would like to listen to by using a narrator who obviously is the no talent nephew of somebody's wife. I love the universe of the criterion Gambit. And to ruin the audible experience with no talent narrators is just so beyond disappointing.

Beyond disappointed

The Universe of the kirtherian Gambit is one of my all time favorite. Why did you feel it necessary to use a krapp narrator on 1 of the best side characters within this universe. I am highly disappointed. And you should be ashamed for using such a monotone and no talent hack. All of the other narrators within this universe create a rich tapestry of voices and accents. This person reads as if he is reciting a technical manual. I didn't even make it through the 1st chapter before I returned the audio book. better to not have listened than to have the experience ruined . I wouldn't even have given one star for the rating but it wouldn't let me submit without

Love the story

Even though I love the story and I will probably keep listening to the rest of the series, this narrator is boring beyond belief. I've found myself having to go back over parts because his droning voice almost put me to sleep several times. I hope the other narrator has a lot more life to him and a lot more vocal talent.

Is it really necessary to go from a great narrator to somebody who just sucks? Does nobody listen to these guys Before they narrate an entire portly? Is there no audition? I may seriously stop listening to this series because of the crap narrator's that get inserted every 3rd or 4th book. Is voice characterizations and vocal inflections are garbage. He should seriously stick to narrating technical manuals. And yes I'm angry and disappointed
P.S. Could you please find someone who pronounce simple words like terran? For God's sake it's the planet the man lives on at this day and age and he can't even pronounce it properly.

Why is it that they feel the need (whoever they may be) to start a series with very good narrators with very good voice talent, then halfway through the series somehow managed to pick the worst possible fit for the series? If he was any worse I'm not sure I would have been able to finish listening to the book. I would have had to gone out and bought the hard copy and read it so I wouldn't have to listen to him.
