I like Dr. Youn but found this book to be too basic for my needs. If you’re brand new to natural health or just beginning your health journey there may some valuable information for you.
Here are my key takeaways (all of which I was already doing):
-Eat a healthy diet with adequate protein, Omega 3 fats, and vegetables while minimizing sugar within an 8 hour window.
-Supplement with organic hydrolyzed collagen and a good multivitamin.
-Use organic topical skincare that includes antioxidants and sunscreen.
-Get enough sleep.
-Use effective strategies to cope with stress.
-Include at home or in office treatments to level up your skincare.

As a long time Ayurvedic and holistic health practitioner, I have read hundreds of health related books. I honestly wasn’t expecting to learn a lot from this one. Yet, to my surprise, I found some new actionable items alongside good reminders. I appreciate the scientific lens with which content is presented. Anyone looking to improve or optimize health will find something to nibble on here.
