I. LOVED. This. Book. This steamy, sweet, and deeply resonating romance is absolutely marvelous. Ms. Burke expertly builds sizzling sexual chemistry; with every fleeting touch and every searing stare Shane Davis and Angela Neil set Skin Deep on fire. Shane is a Nascar race driver who is now a recluse thanks to burns he suffered during a race gone bad. Angela Neil is an actress who is referred by Shane's personal assistant to play the role of Shane's girlfriend. Angela is a struggling actress who is having difficulty paying for her father's nursing home care, and, therefore, needs the money Shane is offering to play his faux girlfriend very badly. Shane feels he needs to carry off this charade to put his friends and parents at ease regarding his recovery, but what Shane doesn't expect is to fall for the beautiful Angela. Shane and Angela are immediately and inexplicably drawn to each other. Angels finds Shane dazzlingly handsome--- and so did I! The burns only added to the mystery and hypnotic appeal of the gorgeous Shane. I felt like their attraction was a living, breathing third member of this romance! It's that real and powerful. This couple doesn't actually have sex until the second half of the book, but it's well worth the wait! The first time they nearly do the deed is ridiculously sexy! I loved this couple's story. This is--- by far--- my favorite Dez Burke romance!
And Muffy Newtown did an AMAZING job narrating this story. I'm looking forward to hearing her voice paired with more Dez Burke books in the future!

Jace and Lila were nothing short of adorable! When Jace asked Lila if he could court her my heart melted! I love my alpha males, but I'm glad I gave this sweet and sexy cowboy a ride. He was definitely worth it. I really enjoyed Piper Laramie's narration. She easily brings this lovely story to life.

I read Burned By Passion a few months ago and really enjoyed it! Blake and Kira's sex scenes were very steamy and their love was tender and beautiful. I enjoy reading about those push and pull love stories with a little angst... and Burned By Passion definitely delivers. What Kira needed, Blake provided with everything he had--- all his heart and soul. Very sweet story. I also liked Blake's father Bretton and his love for and support of Kira. I enjoyed this book so much that I couldn't wait to listen to the audible edition. I was blown away by Pepper's read!
Pepper Laramie does an amazing job bringing ALL the characters in this passionate romance to life. Pepper's delivery of Blake's lines is flawless! She captures his British accent extremely well. She injects a wonderfully distinct energy into each character's dialogue; She almost makes it seem like a different person is reading each part! Wonderful job, Pepper! Dez Burke's words + Pepper Laramie's voice = Literary Gold!
I can hardly wait to hear Pepper read Skin Deep-- my favorite Dez Burke romance. THAT will be literary platinum!!

I’m an investment banker not a “hunk for hire.” The longer she talked, the more intrigued I became. The next thing I knew I was dressed in a suit and going to a wedding. It doesn't get any hotter than this ladies and gents! Jordan and Tiana are hotter than hot! I LOVED this story. I totally fell in love with these two. Jordan went along with being an escort in order to show a beautiful woman a good time (he figured he'd figure out who put his photo and info on a male escort at a later date), but what neither expected was to fall into instant, undeniable lust with one another. And before long that lust turned to love! Beautiful, passionate story. Heartbreakingly sweet ending. Love, love, loved this book! I LOVED Dyna Reeves reading!!

This book is so hot I almost cinged my fingers on my kindle while reading it! Hawk and Ashanti are hotter than hot! Love the story! The sexy Marine and the beautiful, recently dumped business owner have a one-night stand that turns both their lives upside down! The story was cool and fun, the writing is well-paced, and the sex scenes are explosively hot! Loved it! Dez has a fan for life in this reader. Pepper L. does an amazing job reading this!

Chris and Jasmine are SCORCHING HOT! While reading their sex scenes I felt like I would burst into flames. The story is cute. High school acquaintances who admired one another from afar run into each other again at a sports junket--- he a professional player; she a reporter--- and sparks fly! The story is fun and well-written. I really wish it had been longer! Love these two! Thanks, Dez. This one's a winner!
