Pretty interesting story. I do wish if you write from the villains side, there wouldn't be so much angst and hand ringing about his actions. Just explain why the choice was made and move on

Getting bored with this series

I'm usually the type to listen to a full series of books however I find I'm getting bored with it. I give it some time and then find my mind wondering to other things. Don't think I'll listen to the next ones. Not even sure I'll finish the last 1 and 1/2 hours

The story was OK. I'm beginning to tire of the juvenile banter and pointless discussions. I find I want to skip whole chapters and when I do I still miss nothing important. It's a whole universe so there really are no limits, yet it feels the writer is running out of ideas. Also seems they always find space versions of earth creatures.. Idk. I guess I'm getting board..

incompetent investigator gets lucky again

the lead investigator is a written as a moron who gets lucky repeatedly. supposed to be a former cop but has to be told by his girlfriend to put on gloves. he is no Black. no real humor and then stories are boring..

I wanted to like this story but it is just so slow. I kept finding myself thinking about other things, looking at other social media etc. while listening as its kept losing my attention. Im sitting there with 25mins left to go and am debating just not bothering with the ending. At this point I dont really care. I just feel like I need some kind of closure after 20+ hour invested.

I'm about 3/5 or more through this book, and I find I am completely bored with it. I find I do not care what happens to the characters. Returning.

would have liked more first hand stories

Story was told more like a recap of what occurred, according to the author. I believe the author is speaking from an educated perspective however I would have preferred a more first hand account being told by the author. regardless it was interesting. someone's testimony.

the interaction of the characters is so annoying

the writer had the characters constantly bickering and fighting and second guessing motives. its taxing to listen to. not at all impressed with the style nor the content. the first book was somewhat interesting however I've struggled to get thru the 2nd. I won't bother with the third.
