Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

Inconsistent Delivery That Disrupts The Flow
Revisado: 07-05-23
I’ve read the book twice and wanted to enjoy the audio version but I was left disappointed. Some chapters are delivered with a full cast, while others are delivered by one person. The portrayal of Count Fenring is annoying beyond belief. Not what I expected and pales in comparison to most of what Audible has to offer.

Historia
In 1979, the self-titled debut album by the B-52s burst onto the Billboard charts, capturing the imagination of fans and music critics worldwide. The fact that the group had formed in the sleepy southern college town of Athens, Georgia, only increased the fascination. Soon, more Athens bands followed the B-52s into the vanguard of the new American music that would come to be known as "alternative", including R.E.M., who catapulted over the course of the 1980s to the top of the musical mainstream.

A Trip Back To The Salad Days
Revisado: 03-19-21
I grew up during the Bohemian, post-hippie revival in the Deep South, and this book was a faithful representation of a place that seemed like our Eden. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the performance was easy to listen to as well. Get yourself a copy and travel back in time.
