Timeless Classic

War & Peace is a book I read for the first time years ago and really enjoyed. This version narrated by Christopher Peerce was wonderfully done. It’s a dense book to get through but worth it to visualize the realities of life during times of war and peace. I feel this audio book version does a good job at bringing Tolstoy’s story to life.

I found the narrators for each character speak in a way that helped keep me engaged during each story. It was easy to tell when a new character was speaking and what emotion that character was feeling at the time.
