Who wrote this? A ghost writer?

I’m not sure Diana Gabalbon even wrote this book. There are so many inconsistencies that it seems like the writer never read the previous books. From Brianna and Rodger not being on the Ridge when Malva was murdered to when the last time Ulysses was last seen by Claire and many more. Not to mention that the story has Jamie and Claire more like side characters with more story lines about Brianna, Young Ian, William and Lord John. How did it take 7 years to write this book? I’m guessing it didn’t. If Diana wrote this she’s more focused on the TV series and her involvement with that than continuing to write books at her same level as she previously has. Again, it feels like a ghost writer wrote this book and she read it over. It’s very sad for a series that means so much to so many people that we waited so long for this. All of the important and interesting parts of this books could have been covered in about 12-14 hours. Plus, nothing really exciting happens until the end anyway and leaves it with a big cliffhanger. All we can do is hope she will write the final book in her normal fantastic style with more care to details. Hopefully, going back to the main characters we love so much. However, if it takes another 7-8 years I doubt I’ll read it because she’ll have finished it on the TV show which is obviously her main concern at present. As far as narration goes, I don’t understand why some name pronunciations change not only from the previous books to this one but even from chapter to chapter. A big disappointment overall.

Goes much more in depth to the demons of both of them. Creates the perfect conclusion. Very happy I ignored the reviews about not being worth it or could have been summarized down. Truly a joy.

OMG!!!! MAJOR CLIFFHANGER!! 😭😭😭

WAIT BEFORE YOU BUY AND LET ME TELL YOU WHY!!!

I’ve been in love with these families for years and years now so I’m so so happy it’s finally Sulli’s turn to find her own way. For me I get terrible migraines from reading paper or digital books so I always listen. This has such a HUGE cliff hanger that I could not wait for it come out on audible I had to know what was happening so got the next book and it gave me a migraine that lasted 3 days and now I’m dying for 10.21.21 to finish Sulli’s journey. So, this is why I say wait if you can. Also, no clue why or when book 9 will be in audio form (released on 5.28.21; currently 6.27.21) plus then no telling how long the wait for book 10 will be.

I’m also the type of person that wishes authors released entire series at one time or at least a book a week from the series. Especially when the series is this in depth going all the way back to the Addicted Series.

You CANNOT be disappointed with this book or any of the books from the Like Us Series or the Addicted and Callaway Sisters Series about the parents!! 😁😁😁

Everything about this is classic Scarlett and Rhett. The only reason I gave the story 4 stars for the story is because it ends abruptly in my opinion. There’s so much more to elaborate on at the end. For example at the end when they finally come together there’s not even a full chapter about them after they find safety. I would love to know what happened after Ireland and at least some type of details about their happy ever after. Other than that it’s a wonderful story and true to Gone with Wind.

If you’ve read the series the cussing is the same. So forget that 1 star. It’s the perfect ending to the Addicted Series and beginning for the Like Us series. Amazing authors. Narrators being changed didn’t bother me. Things happen and everyone isn’t available. They did an amazing job regardless.

This book will suck you in and you’ll want to stay in the world of the Callaway sisters forever. Its Ryke and Daisy’s final book. There are some unexpected events but it’s past time that Ryke and Daisy get the final chapter in their story. I can’t wait to start listening to the epilogue Some Kind of Perfect. Definitely worth a credit the whole series of Addicted to you and the Callaway Sisters is worth every credit or even the price of buying the whole series.
