It all started when my brother, Paul, convinced me to go on one last family road trip across the Mother Road with him and my dad. Just like old times, right? Wrong. What Paul fails to mention is his best man, Porter, will be joining us, who just so happens to be my childhood crush and the man who broke my heart four years ago. What is supposed to be a fun family bonding experience across Route 66 turns into a war of pranks, awkward moments and bathrooms full of dirty flannel shirts and day-old beard clippings.

A little juvenile for my tastes.

I couldn't finish....I tried...just couldn't do it

The premise for this story is what brought me in. It had the potential for a good RomCom with some family elements thrown Unfortunately, the comedy is mostly just potty humor. Lots and lots of potty humor. I made it two and a half hours before giving up and that took a lot of discipline.
Pros:
The narration is good.
Fun premise.
Cons:
The potty humor
The sh*t jokes
The fart jokes
The dick jokes
The period jokes
Spoilers below.....
Seriously, this opens with the h getting ready to lose it before we go into the start of the story. It opens with a yoga session with an extended fart joke (several minutes devoted to this joke). After this, Paul (her brother) dares her to moon a hitchhiker and takes a picture of it. Then, she almost drinks a bottle of pee before it is spilled all over her shirt. There's an extended scene of tit jokes. After this, ten minutes of shart and sh*t jokes, complete with the narrator making sounds.
All of that takes place in the first couple of hours.. There's more raunch in this than in Bridesmaids.

Great short story. Izzy still makes me laugh. Listening to this reminds me why I loved the troubleshooters series so much.
