Historia
One of the biggest myths that plagues the business world today is that our ability to network depends on having the “gift-of-gab”. You don’t have to be outgoing to be successful at networking. You don’t have to become a relentless self-promoter. In fact, you don’t have to act like an extrovert at all. Matthew Pollard, an introvert himself, draws on over a decade of research and real-world examples to provide an actionable blueprint for introverted networking.

I’ll never listen to this audio book again
Revisado: 08-21-21
Brief summary of the audio book:
1. Give yourself a unique job title “Money Printer” or something ridiculous.
2. Rehearse your talking points to memory.
3. Be an extrovert instead of an introvert.

Historia
They hunt us. They bomb our worlds for target practice. A star cluster in the constellation of Orion rotates once every 1,000 years. Those who rule there have an ancient tradition: When each cycle ends, they train their fleets by spilling the blood of lesser beings. The enemy fleets are coming again. In response, the Rebel Worlds gather their starships to face the terrifying threat, and this time humanity is asked to stand with them. The last time they considered Earth, Vikings in longboats were raiding English coastlines. Today, we're less primitive. Today, we're a target.

Not B. V. Larsons best
Revisado: 12-22-16
Would you listen to Rebel Fleet again? Why?
I did enjoy the book but i don't think its worth listening to a second time.
Would you be willing to try another book from B. V. Larson? Why or why not?
I like B. V. Larson as an author, if he came out with a second book i would listen to it. I'm hoping this book is just setting the stage for better books.

The book wasn't for me
Revisado: 12-06-16
What was most disappointing about Anne Lamott’s story?
Sadly I can't say that there is anything i learned from this book. Nothing about the book actually stood out, i can't recall anything from the book that stood out as useful or meaningful.
The book just seemed to be all over the place.
Would you be willing to try another one of Susan Bennett’s performances?
I listen to audio book while i drive and i could not listen to the book for my entire hour drive. I couldn't listen for longer then 30 minutes at a time.

Historia
Earth builds her first war fleet! The greatest warships ever constructed in known space rise up one by one, soon dominating our skies. They strike fear into the hearts of every citizen and rebel colonist alike. Captain William Sparhawk, the very man who convinced the secretive Council to build this terrifying fleet, now has doubts about the project. What is their exact mission? How could anyone have built these huge ships so quickly? And, most puzzling of all, what's happening out at the isolated laboratory complex on Phobos, Mars' lopsided moon?

overall solid book
Revisado: 10-20-16
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I recommend the series. This has been my least favorite book of the series. The first book was good, the second book was amazing and this book was decent. I really enjoy the space battles, the suspense on the duration of space battles is interesting and B V Larson does a great job with space battles. The space battle in this book just isn't as good as the 1st and 2nd book.
What did you like best about this story?
The last 3 hours of the book were the best of the whole book.
What does Edoardo Ballerini bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Of all the space books I've read Edoardo Ballerini is by far my favorite narrator.
Any additional comments?
Without giving to much of the plot, I was disappointed one of my favorite characters wasn't in most of the book.

I really wanted to like this book.
Revisado: 07-10-16
I looked up this book after seeing Dr. ludwig on the bullet proof podcast with Dave Asprey. I was really interested in listening to the book but it was a huge let down.
The most painful part of the entire book was the "My Always Hungry Story" they did nothing to help the book and only ended up making me loose focus while listening. The 1st 15 minutes of the books are just "My Always Hungry Story"s and if you took all of them out the book would probably be 2 hours shorter. One of the "My Always Hungry Story" had a weight loss of four pounds... really pointless.
With the title "Always hungry" i thought the book would have covered why i'm always hungry and what to do about it, i don't feel like i was able to get any information from the book.
I tried listening to the book a second time to give it another chance, too try and retain some additional information i might have missed because i was really hoping for substance in the book but only ended up with what felt like listening to a 6 hour infomercial....

The first 45 minutes of the book is something you can acquire from a google search. The last half of the book is just recipes and recipes are pointless in an audio book.

Russ Harris offers a surprising solution to low self-confidence, shyness, and insecurity: Rather than trying to "get over" our fears, he says, the secret is to form a new and wiser relationship with them. Paradoxically, it's only when we stop struggling against our fearfulness that we begin to find lasting freedom from it.

This book did not transition into a good audiobook
Revisado: 02-04-16
I use audio books while I'm driving and exercising. This audio book has you to do a lot of activities which require you to participate by writing or closing your eyes and visualizing, a rather difficult challenge while driving.
Overall the book was good, I would recommend the actual hard copy of the book because it just doesn't translate to audio unless you're sitting at a desk/table.
